Buggy Family Allowance Feature

I want to use this feature to prevent my son from using his phone during certain hours. At home, we’ve already set the Wi-Fi to block his device from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m., but he can still access the internet using mobile data.
Whenever I try to use the Family Allowance feature on the T-Mobile website, it either crashes with an error message or applies the settings to all lines on the account instead of just his. On the rare occasion I get it to apply correctly, he can still make calls using his phone number, which defeats the purpose.
The Family Allowance feature doesn’t work in the T-Life app either. It provides a link, but clicking it leads to a page that says the link doesn’t exist.
It’s really disappointing that T-Mobile hasn’t solved these issues, especially since I’ve seen similar complaints on this board going back two years.
