re-activating a canceled line from abroad
Hi, I’m a student and I studied abroad this year. I cancelled (not suspended) my T-mobile line when I left the US. I still have the SIM card. I’m coming back to the US soon and I’d like to re-activat...
Once the SIM has been deactivated, it can’t be reactivated. Any line cancelled, the number gets recycled back into the system to be reassigned. When you return to the US, you will need a new SIM and potentially will need a new number, if your old one isn’t available. Being a year though, it is pretty much a guarantee that the number has already been reassigned.
