I am visiting Japan. I am supposed to get welcome text message when I arrive in Japan and I should have been able to use text or call without WiFi setting even though I didn’t add on any another service because my plan is Magenta. However my phone can’t work without WiFi, only my daughter’s phone works in same situation. We are same account and plan. It would be so appreciated if you give me an advice to solve. Thanks in advance.
Have you turned off Airplane Mode? What device are you using? Do you have data roing turned on in your device settings? Have you tried manually connecting to the roaming oartner in Japan?
