Gateway Password

I forgot my gateway password.  How do I fix this so I can add my new phone to my WIFI?

    When did you change your gateway password? Is the one provided on the back of the device not working?

    Just had new TV service installed installed. Two days later we changed internet to T-Mobile.  Now it appears we need to change the Gateway password for the router.  How is this done?
