Expiration date bug for Legacy Pay As You Go?
Even though this is an older post I wanted to share what happened to me today since it looks like the bug is still around. 17 years I've had the payg gold/legacy plan. I added funds to it in October 2024 and I have a screen shot of the payment receipt that clearly shows October 18, 2025 expiration. As of last week the balance was $114. When I woke up this morning I had an account suspended text and a 0 balance. Customer service rep called it a 'glitch' and assured me they would restore the funds - 72 hour wait. But I've never had this happen before. Looks like my one year expiration became a 3 month one at some point, if that's what happened. Rather inconvenient.
Just wanted to know what happened to your account?I woke up and it looks like my account got reactivated but only 1 cents balance.

I had my balance restored but my renewal date moved back about 15 days from the original date.

You didn't say how much you had before but if there's only 1 cent in it now you might want to add another $10 while you try to get things worked out. If you had more than 1 cent that's now gone and customer support isn't helping to get it back you can file a complaint with the FCC which is what helped me and others I've heard from. Some have had luck going through the BBB. What CS tells customers seems to depend on which rep you get, no consistency at all which is ridiculous.

I went to my account here and found out they're going to restore the remaining balance tonight. And i was communicating with tmobile support on x/twitter earlier today and he was able to restored it sooner. It supposed to expire this year in august.I'm not sure if i have to pay every month which i don't want to do. Very confusing.

I don't have Facebook or X so didn't have those to go through otherwise would have tried them first. You're right, it's still confusing. I'll just keep checking #225# periodically to see if the expiration date has changed.
