Are members of local Search and Rescue organizations eligible for the Go5G First Responder plan?
Are members of local Search and Rescue (SAR) organizations eligible for the Go5G First Responder plan? There is conflicting information on different T-Mobile web pages: This First Responder Verification help page says that active volunteer members of Search and Rescue organizations are eligible However, on the online account profile first responder verification form, the first question asks for "affiliation" and the only choices are EMT or Police or Firefighter. There is no option for Search and Rescue, which is different from these groups (EMT certification is not a pre-requisite for Search and Rescue). Can Search and Rescue volunteers still certify online, or must they certify over the phone?djh252 months agoNetwork Novice89Views0likes1CommentT-Life-Seriously?
T-Mobile life? Who actually wants to live a life simulated by cell phones? Do I really need an app to inform me about a bakery in my hometown while I'm already there? That’s TikTok. The plans are complicated, and the pricing isn’t competitive anymore. Competitive subsidies? T-Mobile provides financing on most devices, making it easy for customers to get devices with low down payments and affordable rates—that's incentive enough! So now T-Mobile has become my dad's carrier. They might as well just finish the transformation and rename it Verizon 2.0!NotBatman252 months agoRoaming Rookie81Views1like0CommentsFrom Rebel to Relic: T-Mobile’s Transformation into Dad Mode
Absolutely! Here’s a witty and sarcastic critique of T-Mobile: --- Oh, T-Mobile, how the mighty have fallen! Once the trendy, cool kid on the block, you’ve now morphed into the parental figure we all wanted to escape. Remember when you were the rebellious teenager, flipping the bird to “Big Red” and the other corporate giants? Well, congratulations! You’ve officially turned into the very thing you swore to rebel against—your parents. What happened to the days of carefree plans and transparent pricing? Now, your consumers are staring at bills that seem to have magically appeared out of thin air, leaving them feeling as confused as when their parents tried to explain how to use a rotary phone. Talk about a glow-up gone wrong! Your appeal was built on being the fun alternative, the carrier that didn’t take itself too seriously. But now, it feels like you’re lecturing us about data limits and hidden fees like a parent reminding us to wear a sweater because "we’ll catch a cold." What gives? It's almost as if you’ve forgotten that a little honesty goes a long way. Your customers are losing trust faster than we lost our teenage angst, and it’s a shame to see such a once-cool brand become just another voice in the chorus of corporate mediocrity. So here’s a tip: let’s channel that rebellious spirit again. After all, nobody wants to hang out with a company that feels like a dad trying to connect with the kids by using outdated slang. Get it together, T-Mobile! We want the fun, not the parental advisory! --- Hope you enjoy this critique!NotBatman252 months agoRoaming Rookie117Views1like2CommentsBilling

I had last visited USA, specifically LA in the year 2016 and had bought a prepaid number 626-757-4647. I'll be visiting USA again in April 2025 and was wondering if I could in any way reactivate this number again? I have the physical SIM card with me. Could support experts suggest if there is any possibility?TejasDandekar2 months agoNetwork Novice193Views0likes7CommentsMy 5GB Connect plan changed to UNLIMITED, then data ran out completely
Hi all. Ive had a $15 T-Mobile Connect plan for years. Has 5GB data that now says "UNLIMITED" instead of 5GB. I wondered why. Looked it up and found out something started in 2021 where T-Mobile is giving the gift of unlimited, "unlimited data for existing customers" "Beginning April 18, 2021 most customers will automatically get unlimited high-speed smartphone data at no additional cost on all current lines." I fit all eligibility i thought, so figured that was it! OR they were rolling this deal out again, or maybe unlimited til end of the month as a holiday perk. But that was not the case apparently. I used up ALL my 5GB data on a video call to see what would happen and sure enough my data shut off completely. I feel like i was fooled. Can anyone tell me or speculate as to what happened here?smoothguy72 months agoNewbie Caller406Views0likes4CommentsTransfering a Line to Current Account
I have a phone number that my mom has under her account, and I have my own TMobile account. Is there a way to transfer the line my mom has to my personal account? If so, would this swap any phone number I select to transfer to or would it add onto my account as a third line? To try to sum it up, basically I have my iPhone's number and my watch's number on my account and I would like to add an existing phone number (from my Samsung, under my mom) to this account as a third line if possibleVersedQuartz202 months agoNetwork Novice158Views0likes2Comments
