How to find support chat transcript (they lied to me)
Two days ago I had a support chat (desktop, not mobile) with a rep who supposedly helped me by waiving a requirement for a promotion. She told me everything was set and that within 48 hours I’d receive an email confirming that I could sign up for the promotion but with the requirement waived. Predictably, 48 hours has now gone by and I’ve received no email. I called support this time and they claim they have no record of the chat and that they don’t have access to chat transcripts even if they did occur (I find this patently absurd). They won’t honor what the chat rep promised me, but unfortunately I didn’t save a transcript of the chat. Now, the chat widget isn’t showing on their desktop site (it seems to come and go based on mysterious rules). Does anyone know if it is possible to access support chat transcripts, and if so, where on their site? I can’t find anything.3KViews2likes9CommentsSpam Caller: +1 805 637 7243
This # has been leaving voice messages ever since I got my phone in 2018. Every time I shut down my phone then turn it back on it says that I have a new voice message from the same #. Then its says that voice mail was detected using SMS but I haven't even been able to set up my voice mail. So I Googled the # to see if anyone else was having this problem and I found that this # is from Santa Barbara and many people have had this issue just like me and most of them said that this # had something to do with T-Mobile. Then I heard that this # was a viruse or a hacker trying to get into your phone which almost gave me a heart attack. So if you could explain to me what this # really is then that would be great. How to connect with T-Mobile agent WITHIN THE USA when I call 611
I’ve been with T-Mobile since 1999 - 25 years. I need to make changes to my account, and be sure I’m on the best plan for me. When I call 611, I’ve had to wait ½ to 2 hours, and then get an agent in a foreign country that barely speaks English. This has happened 3 times tonight. My experience from past situations like this, is that they don’t understand me fully, I don’t understand them fully, they mess up my account, and I have to make multiple calls to straighten things out. IS THERE A WAY TO BYPASS THE “RANDOM” COUNTRY SELECTION, and actually speak to a representative within the USA? They formerly had a Customer Retention Dept or Customer Loyalty Dept, and they were always on this continent and were completely knowledgeable and competent. Now, no matter what I say when I call in, they tell me I cannot speak to a T-Mobile agent within the USA. Does anyone have a fix for this?306Views0likes4CommentsUnable to download billing statement.
I read a lot of comments about many T-Mobile users are having issues downloading their billing statements from their T-Mobile account whether is via phone app or online website. I am included with this same issue for more than a year now. Initially I was able to do it using phone app and for some reason it will not work today. I am so disappointed and pissed off with this provider, they not only up their monthly fees using very poor excuses. Their customer support service sucks big time, I am to a point of switching to another providers. There must be a legal way to take T-Mobile to court for ignoring and not fixing their portal which cause their paying customer so much inconvenience and unproductive time. If anyone knows of agencies who are taking legal action against T-Mobile for this issue, please share with me. Big corporation as such must be made to pay for their lack of responsiveness to their broken system.21Views0likes0CommentsFranklin mobile hotspot duplicitous data dealing?
I have been using one of these mobile Wi-Fi hotspots for a few years, and I ALWAYS run out of data early. I have 100 gigs a month for 100.00 (I think. I should probably check though because T-Mobile encourages autopay so they can raise your service fees without you noticing). Anyway, I habitually run out of data about a week early. So I decided to go on a data diet. I was being very frugal about what was using my data because although my consumption had not changed, I was now running out of data much earlier. Like 10 days to 2 weeks early, even though my usage is relatively stable. The last few months, I have turning off the Wi-Fi hotspot or turning off the Wi-Fi on my computer so it can't hook up to it without my knowledge. I NEVER use this for my smart TV, it doesn't work. It just keeps buffering, so I don't even bother. Tonight I went out for a few hours my computer's WI-FI was off, my phone was with me, and the Franklin For instance, they will turn on the Wi-Fi calling in your phone's settings in the store when you buy it, so you hopefully won't realize how bad their service is. Or when they were buying sprint, they OBVIOUSLY were renting more access from towers owned by other carriers, so people would stop complaining about their awful service, so the FCC would approve the sale, and once it was approved, everybody's service went back to being spotty or non-existent. I have decided when my data rolls over again in 10 days to do an experiment. I am going to get a sim card for a hotspot only from AT&T, (who also sucks, let's not kid ourselves) and I am going to use the SECOND Franklin I got from Amazon for 15 dollars, instead of the 90 dollars T-Mobile charged me for one. So I am going to take the mobile hotspot #1 with the T-Mobile sim and sim card NOT use it, just leave it on idle while I use the second mobile hotspot with the AT&T sim card and see if I still blow through 100 gigs of data in under 3 weeks. Every single month I run out of data faster even though I KNOW I used less. I am going to document it all. I may even make a short YouTube video if it's totally obvious and unequivocally an issue with T-Mobile just stealing data to make me buy a different plan with MORE hotspot data included, like Experience or Experience Beyond. Furthermore, I am not sure, but I DO know when something doesn't make sense, and this blowing through data in two weeks makes absolutely no sense. I am going to take pictures of the data usage of both hotspots every single night for a month. Then I will know and I will post the results. Stay tuned...13Views0likes0CommentsSuspended Lines - Not Even 30 Days Past Due
I was in complete shock when T-Mobile suspended our service not even 30 days past the due date. They turned them of 26 days past due. Charge $20 per line to be turned back on, $100 to turn all our phones back on for not even being 30 days past the due date. Our bill is typically never late, we have had a day or two behind over the years and maybe once or twice over the last 18 years that we have been with T-mobile we might have let a bill slide by and not realize it until we get next months bill. It is not a regular occurrence, you think they would have some grace period. I am still blown away that only 26 days late and they suspended our plan, per text at 8:00 A.M. on 2/2. As soon as I saw that they were going to suspend the lines if I didn't pay the past due pmt I settled up a little after 8:00 A.M that same morning. I had meant to pay it that Friday 1/31, but mom life and I got side tracked and it slipped. I knew my next bill was due 2/6 so it was on my mind that I needed to get the large balance paid. My phone wasn't shut off until later that night after 10:00p.m of 2/2, which was odd since I had settled up with them that morning and used my phone just fine that day. I noticed when I did get on my account that I paid to have the phones reactivated on 2/2 around 8:00 A.M which matched up to the confirmation time I received once I paid, shortly after receiving the notice of the lines possibly could be suspended. Then I have each lines showing on 2/2 at 10:02 p.m that they suspended the lines, which makes sense why a few calls I tried to make didn't go through. I later found out that the following morning 2/3 my friend had been trying to call me and none of her attempts had gone through until the late morning. Do you think that they have any information on past due bills and how long before they will suspend your lines anywhere to be found easily or at all? I don't always want or need to waste my time calling customer care, I prefer not to as they have gone to trash as well. Everyone is so rude and unhelpful. I guess T-mobile just does what ever pleases them and will suspend everyone at different times, as I saw someone was 33 day past their due date. They were stating/complaining how T-mobile was going to be suspending their line when they were ONLY 33 days past due. If I didn't have an old plan that was grandfathered in, I would NOT be staying with T-mobile.457Views2likes4CommentsProtection 360
So even though I have protection 360 on my phone, why the hell I can’t do a claim for a mechanical/electrical issue? I was told I needed to go inside the store to have my phone inspected. I am trying to figure out the point into have insurance on your phone when they make it this complicated just to get a working phone!37Views0likes0CommentsService…
For weeks my service and internet were fine but none of my outgoing calls were going through to people. It wouldn’t even dial it would just go to their voicemail. I received calls just fine. T-Mobile told me basically just update my phone (already updated) then turn it off and on again. Didn’t work. Went to Apple they said it was a carrier issue and they couldn’t help. Called T-Mobile again. They had me “reset my network settings”. That did help and now my calls are going through but my service is trash now, everywhere I go even outside I’m only getting ONE bar, two occasionally … I called T-Mobile and they said their tower is down and unsure how long it will take to fix but it’s been 2 weeks now?25Views0likes0Comments
