Wifi blocking incoming calls
Whenever I am connected to wifi at home incoming calls go straight to voicemail. Have T-mobile, have wifi calling disabled, just using wifi for data. This is happening with my wifes phone too. I have 15 plus, she has 15 pro max. IOS 18.1.1. As soon i disable wifi calls come in. Is this happening to anyone else?Bigd98344 hours agoRoaming Rookie19Views0likes0CommentsI deleted my phone to report a claim for repairs...recovery possible?
To be able to submit my claim to get my screen fixed, I needed to delete my phone and remove it from "Find My" Since this was extremely upfront, I figured it was something that is automated to be able to get everything back. ::Maybe:: that's true, I don't know. My phone was immediately rendered useless and my claim hasn't even been approved yet. My livelihood depends on my ability to use my phone. I tried to get everything back on the phone while I wait to hear about taking it in to get fixed, and then clearing it again to take it in to the shop (I assume that's why this is even a thing -- to make sure people don't get into my information when I leave it to get fixed?), but it looks like that's not possible. When trying to get everything back and restore my phone's functionality, I have to go through the steps like a brand new phone. I can't find anywhere that will restore the data that I deleted today. Did I need to backup my phone before deleting it? If so, why would it not be mentioned whatsoever that that's an important step to take? The ONLY fragment of hope that I have that this will turn out okay in the end is this screenshot that says "Will be Removed on Jan 2, 2025"... which suggests that it still exists somewhere, and I can get it back, right? I haven't seen a hint of how to do that in the phone setup steps, but .... can, right? I'm too "afraid" to go through all the steps because there are multiple ways to set up my phone and I'm not sure what "I'm committing to" by choosing one versus another. Can anyone help sooth my worries? ...Which includes letting me know that I'm screwed. The most stressful place to be is not knowing. Thanks.apositivephrase2 days agoNetwork Novice68Views0likes1CommentZip code 71909 FAILURE
A significant percentage of zip code 71909 is without any service or very poor service with a tower without power. T-Mobile called 1st electric co-op and they would not respond to the service request. I called 1st Electric and they informed me it is not their electrical lines. T-Mobile said they are trying to find someone to provide service to the tower. Apparently T-Mobile does not own the tower, can some VP call the owner possibly AT&T to find out to whom the pay the electric bill to? This has been going on for 4 days!!!legna4 days agoNetwork Novice48Views0likes1Comment- DeanoT6 days agoNewbie Caller122Views0likes6Comments

I am not receiving certain texts
I just moved over to T-Mobile, but I noticed I am not receiving text messages from my building automation system anymore. I used to be able to get them from my previous provider, and I have contacted T-Mobile who had to escalate this, but as yet, I have heard nothing. Has anyone else seen this? We have been through everything, including checking short codes, blocking and so on. This is becoming a dealbreaker for me, if I can't get these messages coming back in, I may have to go back to my previous provider.DeanoT7 days agoNewbie Caller61Views0likes2CommentsWhy am I unable to upgrade online?
Have been with T-Mobile since the Sprint days (24 yrs.+). Pay by auto-debit religiously. Calculated I've spent $28k+ with T-Mobile/Sprint in total. Over the past two months, I've attempted to upgrade online. I get as far as the "submit payment" and receive one or more error messages (We're unable to verify your identity/Somethings wrong, Please Try Later). I called customer service who suggested I go to a store. Went to the store, they scanned my ID, called customer service and said "All's good!". Nope...all is not good. Still unable to upgrade online. Made certain my online account/name matched exactly with my credit card billing info. No dice. Tried several credit cards and even the debit card on the account used for direct debit payment. Nope, nope, nope. Tried this with the assistance of customer support via remote connection. Spent 1:06 hrs. on the phone today. Nothing burger. Can anyone recommend another carrier who will take my $$$ online?ChumleyDooDoo12 days agoNetwork Novice134Views1like3CommentsLess trade in value for Military plans
I find it quite disappointing that T-Mobile changed the trade-in values for the Military and 1st responder plans to less than their equivalent plan. I signed up for the Go5G Plus Military plan, looking to get the discount on the iPhone 16. By the time the change took affect, and I got to the store to trade in for the phone, I saw that they dropped the promotional value from $830 to $630 for the military plans. The Go5G Plus plan is still $830, so I was basically lied to that this is the same plan, but discounted for veterans. Now, the trade in value is the same as my old plan, but they conned me into paying an extra $50/mo with no added benefit. I had already traded in another phone on this plan and was waiting for the iPhone to be available, so I am tied into it for the time being. I understand that T-Mobile can change the promo terms at any point, but this isn't changing the terms of the promo, this is false advertising on the part of the plan, since it is not the same plan at a discount. It is just a discount plan with less benefits. I'll be keeping my eyes out for competitors paying for me to switch now if this is how T-Mobile treats their customers, and make false claims about Veteran appreciation.JamesJ7714 days agoNewbie Caller158Views2likes1CommentAssurant Nightmare!!!! Stay Away from this company.
Ok I filed a claim for My iPhone 15 pro max. Paid the Deductible and sent back the damaged phone. Keep a photo of the tracking. All of a sudden an 800.00 charge shows up for Non-returned device. After Getting a T-Mobile rep on the phone they put me on a three way call with Assurant. Low and behold they did receive the phone!!!!The T-Mobile Rep. tells me they put a hold on my account to wait two billing cycles to remove it. (How cant they take it off right then and there is ridiculous) Then T-Mobile takes 414.00 out of my account two weeks later. After calling T-Mobile AGAIN and I was told the First rep didn’t do what he was supposed to due and I would have to wait 18 days for T-mobile to reverse the charge. Funny how they can take my money and it takes 18 days to put it back. I then made sure I deleted all form of payment methods off my account to block any more shenanigan's from T-Mobile’s Flunkeys. Now I have to wait till I can get return calls from T-Mobile to, I guess check that things are being fixed and my 414.00 is returned.Moral of the Story….DO NOT USE ASSURANT!!!!!!99Views0likes0Comments
