Adding "Genie" Advanced to Google One 2TB + Unlimited Google Photos plan
I've been using a few different AI services and was interested in trying "Genie" Advanced. Unfortunately, since my Google One account is managed by T-Mobile, I can't make any account changes/upgrades directly through Google. The "Genie" Advanced upgrade to Google One 2TB (w/o unlimited photos) through Google is a $5.00/mo difference in price, but it's not currently offered through the add-on management page on T-Mobile. Does anyone know if T-Mobile intends to add this as an option in the future or if it can be added via customer service? I could call, but I'm 99% certain it would involve at least 1-2 transfers and a callback, and using my phone as a phone makes my skin crawl--but for the record, T-Mobile reps are exceptional, especially compared to my average experience with phone support. "Genie" is being used because Big Brother over here won't allow me to use the actual word, maybe because it's an astrological sign and there's a zero-tolerance policy for that in the Magenta universe? lolphteven15 minutes agoVisitor1View0likes0CommentsNokia 5G21 Gateway Power Cord Connection
Hello, Does anyone know which DC connection the Nokia 5G21 Gateway has? I am looking at a battery backup for that device to keep it powered in a power outages, and am told that the Gateway needs to have a standard 5.5*2.5mm or 5.5*2.1mm DC port for the battery UPS I am looking at to work. Is that what the Nokia 5G21 gateway has? Thanks!TNorth2 hours agoNetwork Novice4Views0likes0CommentsI want Starlink, so... Moto G Power 2024?
So my Pixel 4a apparently isn't satellite compatible. I've always thought that satellite connectivity, even if it's just SMS, would be worth it to me. It's the kind of feature I'd pay for. So, I guess my main question is, what phone to get? For me, it's hard finding a phone I like. I don't really like my Pixel. It works, but I miss my FM radio. And from Youtube videos scrolling through the apps, it looks like the Motorola Moto G and G Power 2024 have FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, SD card slot, all the things I'd like to have, personally. Well, except AM and weather stations and amateur radio bands and other types of radio reception. But that's just me. But would the Moto G 2024 work with Satellite? Would this be my dream phone? I personally don't care if it has a good camera. A bright screen for outdoors would be nice, and loud speakers and a good mic too. But I guess I can't have everything.mr_l845 hours agoLTE Learner83Views0likes3Comments- SivaRajagopal5 hours agoVisitor23Views0likes2Comments

For the past two years, I have disabled(TURNED OFF COMPLETELY) both the 2.4 and 5 GHz Wifi bands and only use the ethernet port on this router. This is what I want and had working ! I currently have a SAGECOM Model FAST 5688W Gateway Router only after recently replacing the previous one which TMobile chose to replace after my recent complaint about not being able to disable both WIFI bands. I was told by the REP that I would be able to disable WIFI using the T-Life app. This is not true. I also spoke to a level 2 tech and they lead me through a series of dead ends. I have disabled(Shut OFF) the 2.4 GHz band using the HINT Control app in the band management tab BUT I am unable to turn off the 5GHz band as it states "UNABLE TO DISABLE 5GHz" I have tried to disable this using a direct ethernet connection from my Android to the router. Still have the same challenge. So, What has changed on this router that is NOW preventing me from disabling both Wifi bands ? I just want ethernet connectivity out of this router, period. I signed up for a T-Mobile Tuesday Promotion back in November 2023. This was for a Fire TV is I joined T-Mobile 5g Internet Service. And Maintained for 2 Months. Well I did just that but I never received the codes for this promotion to submit for Amazon to send the TV. (This is part of the process) I have contacted customer support several times, phone, chat etc. Everyone I speak to agrees that I qualified. I get the repeated promises that they have contacted the proper department to moves this along. But no one has contacted me back, everytime I call its the same promises etc. I have gone to stores, but I get a snicker at the stores that it has to be handled via support. Any help or ideas, to get this resolved.Fdrich116 hours agoNewbie Caller453Views1like4CommentsControl a child's account
It's 2025, we really need the option to control our children's electronics features at the account level. For instance, I wish to disable my teenage child's mobile data. T-Mobile's solution is their $10 a month "Family Mode" app. This is great except that it requires apps (and apparently a VPN) to be added to the child's device, they're easily smart enough to find ways around this. Come on T-Mobile, I could easily control my child's mobile data back when we had Sprint!JPerry20 hours agoVisitor53Views0likes2CommentsGateway but no phone service
I signed up a 5G Gateway device two days and everything was fine, including phone service and internet. But now, suddenly, I have no phone service. When I try to make a phone call, I get a message saying my phone is not registered on a network.lightning1520 hours agoVisitor22Views0likes0CommentsNetflix on us issue
Hi! This morning, when I opened Netflix on my computer I got a brief message telling me I needed to update my email address. When I clicked to log in, it said my password was incorrect. I am unable to log in on any device. The email address is old and I cannot access it. I either didn't link a phone number or it's so old I don't know what it is. I can't enter payment information because TMobile pays for the service. I've chatted with both Netflix and TMobile and didn't get anywhere. Netflix said I could get a service number from TMobile that would allow them to access my account but TMobile couldn't do that and seemed a little confused. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there any solution? I'd really rather not set up a new account.lheintzman20 hours agoVisitor27Views0likes0Comments
