Advanced WiFi configuration for TMO-G4AR?
First off, I've been spoiled by having a dedicated wifi router connected to my cable modem. This let me setup hardcoded IPs for both static and DHCP. I also setup up a password protected guest network. This allowed internet access, but no access to my home resources. Can any of this be done with the TMO-G4AR? I've found the T-Life app to be more of an Ad cannon than a management utility. I tried logging-in directly to the router from a browser. I was greatly disappointed. Fortunately, I defined a new network for the TMO, so I still have my original Wifi setup available. I'm going to connect the TMO-G4AR to the "uplink" port of my WiFi router. I just ordered and set up the T-Mobile home internet this weekend. The internet speeds are terrible, and completely untenable. You could never do a Zoom call on it -- I can't even stream an audio podcast. When I ordered it, T-Mobile clearly advertised that if you cancel w/in 15 days, you get a full refund for everything. However, I am now looking for the option to cancel, and I cannot see one anywhere. I've checked my online account on the web and on the app. No cancel option. I have been with T-Mobile for over 10 years and they have been giving me the the worst customer service they have over charged me recently i had asked for an extension on my payment plan which they have did before and they have given me the wrong price they tried to charged me more than what it was i have told them several times to release to lines from my plan and they never listen they still kept the lines on my plan and want me to pay extra T-Mobile has been nothing but a pure headache in the past year but want to say they want to keep the customer happy how when they never listen and just want you to do what they want i will be leaving soon and not recommending anyone that i know to get a plan with them T-Mobile y’all been a pain in my behind since i gotten with yall47068559119 hours agoNewbie Caller55Views1like2CommentsQuincy Illinois Tmobile is trash
Ive been round and round with this store. . . Theres always only one person working who knows nothing because she isnt a manager. She cant even access a lot because shes not a manager. Im always waiting forever and half of the tome the system is down. I cant even type right becsyse my phpne is broken and cant get help swigching it over. Trash company. Wish sprint still existed. We had T Mobil and kept dropping calls, no signal and blank air all the time . T Mobil technician's claimed it was our I phone 11s. They stated we need to upgrade to the I phone 15 at the time. The also changed my plan. Low and behold we did that and it got worse. T Mobil Techs blamed everything from Apple upgrade, hard resets needed, Tower maintenance up grades. We got lied too so many times it was horrible. T Mobil has so many issues with their towers. They blames everything but them selves. I will be switching carriers and paying my phone off. How do I contact support? I was having my “Free Trial” of home internet cancelled and they cancelled my primary line instead. It dropped the support call and immediately kicked me out out my account. My phone can make emergency calls only. Cannot call 611. My online account no longer recognizes my phone number. Cannot link the account to my email due to account verification going to the phone they just turned off. Hello, I have constant problems with T-Satellite connecting on and reconnecting on my iPhone 16 pro max. It causes battery drain. I travel from area to area hiking full time. Sometimes I have full cellular coverage and when I don’t I have Starlink WiFi. And when I hike in areas without cellular it tries to connect constantly to satellite. This happens in my pocket and sends messages that it’s connected over and over. This sometimes happens at night when I’m on Starlink WiFi asleep. It also will not reconnect to cellular coverage automatically. It’s frustrating especially because it drains my battery. What I would like to do is have the ability to turn off satellite.
