I deleted my phone to report a claim for repairs...recovery possible?
To be able to submit my claim to get my screen fixed, I needed to delete my phone and remove it from "Find My" Since this was extremely upfront, I figured it was something that is automated to be able to get everything back. ::Maybe:: that's true, I don't know. My phone was immediately rendered useless and my claim hasn't even been approved yet. My livelihood depends on my ability to use my phone. I tried to get everything back on the phone while I wait to hear about taking it in to get fixed, and then clearing it again to take it in to the shop (I assume that's why this is even a thing -- to make sure people don't get into my information when I leave it to get fixed?), but it looks like that's not possible. When trying to get everything back and restore my phone's functionality, I have to go through the steps like a brand new phone. I can't find anywhere that will restore the data that I deleted today. Did I need to backup my phone before deleting it? If so, why would it not be mentioned whatsoever that that's an important step to take? The ONLY fragment of hope that I have that this will turn out okay in the end is this screenshot that says "Will be Removed on Jan 2, 2025"... which suggests that it still exists somewhere, and I can get it back, right? I haven't seen a hint of how to do that in the phone setup steps, but .... can, right? I'm too "afraid" to go through all the steps because there are multiple ways to set up my phone and I'm not sure what "I'm committing to" by choosing one versus another. Can anyone help sooth my worries? ...Which includes letting me know that I'm screwed. The most stressful place to be is not knowing. We have very reliable, fast 5G home internet with only one issue. Often when connecting to play Mario Kart online the connection times out. At the same time any other connection is working great. I have had this outage at night starts around 9 pm goes all night using 5G and I can't call tech support because calls just drop. Tried texting on the Tmobile Life app and its in and out. Spoke to tech support this morning had me switch to LTE and a 2.4 instead of 5G. I don't know yet if that will work but they have no idea when the tower problem will be fixed. Its just a ridiculous situation. No info or email or text telling customers there is a problem. I am sorry I left Spectrum cable. Tried to save a little money and this is what I get for that. If anyone in the world can help me with the above issue I would appreciate you so much! I never had issues with FamilyMode before, and I recently bought a new phone, tried to log in as normal, and after login it does not let me move past the terms and conditions! I keep getting this error message and I’ve done everything humanly possible from uninstall reinstall clear cache tried different devices android and apple removed the feature from my account and re add it escalated this through tech support but they keep outsourcing me and they never can explain the issue correctly so the engineering team keeps kicking it back I’m pulling hair at this point trying to see how I can ever use this app again it was very helpful to me before ! Hi! Im just really sad about the website for this carrier, tbh i dont have a problem with the data and all but every time i try to use their website, either it’s taking a while or no avail at all. For customer service, either they are excellent or bad. I dont know why I have a pending order when it says on my website that it was completed for MONTHS already. Before, I could changed my plan on their website but now, no matter what i do, nothing! Even the representative couldn’t help me. I can’t even use their App too! Is it because im a prepaid user? Still, im a customer. It’s frustrating because this already happened numerous times. Your website and app are ridiculously useless. So back in January 2021. I had finance/purchase a phone with T-Mobile which I still have to this day. I had giving it to my Father and he locked himself out of his Apple ID. I cannot get into it so contacting Apple. I was told I would have to get a proof of purchase receipt from the place that I had purchased it from the problem is. I cannot get into my T-Mobile Portal, since I no longer have services with T-Mobile and I cannot get through to customer service since I do not have a phone number or services with T-Mobile, so my question would be. How would I be able to gain access of set receipt to be able to unlock my phone mind.
