using Rebtel to dial from USA to other country
hello, I'm curious to get your experience. What charges, if any, have you seen, when calling the UK from USA, for example? Rebtel seems great. However, it uses some USA number, like 469 area code, to "link" to the target UK number, like an intermediary. Does T-Mobile charge extra for this? I would think calling a USA number, Dallas 469, as a hub, makes it free and normal and fits under the unlimited call, per my plan. Any experience using apps and getting extra charges? I searched for forum, and only got REBATE keyword results. But the name is Rebtel, and it seems great and good deal. $20 for 180 days of unlimited calls to that country. I also tried the FAQ, but clicking the Login to see my plan, just took me to my normal plan homepage, and there was no mention of intermediary 😊 😅 apps that still using the native dialer on iphone, like a regular call. It seems there is a flat 0.25 cent rate, if I'm "in" the UK and calling other phones. But this is about calling from USA.leaningpicnicta5 hours agoNewbie Caller13Views0likes1CommentSkymirr exterior antenna connections.
I purchased an exterior antenna to see if I could get better reception. However, no support or instructions come with the antenna. It has 4 connectors, 2 labeled 5G Main and the other two labeled 5G AUX. The G4AR has four connection points for the exterior antennas labeled ANT1, ANT2, ANT3 and ANT4. Anybody have any idea on which lead would go to which of the four possible ANT connections.Newone5 hours agoNewbie Caller170Views0likes6CommentsWhy am I getting charged for a device that I canceled years ago?
I just noticed that you guys are still charging me for a device that was stolen years ago that I asked to be canceled/ line suspended. When I went through my bill today and suspended the device AGAIN it tells me that I’ll still be charged because there’s lines attached to that device. I’m confused, because am I paying for some random person to use the device that was stolen? I have no attachment to the number that device is under. T-Mobile, how are you going to fix this issue?redet7 hours agoVisitor40Views0likes2CommentsTMobile still lying to customers.
I believe T-Mobile is still lying to customers! We are so frustrated. Our daugther wanted a new phone and watch Dec 2024. She went into the local store they told her to call 611 to see if she was eligible.. they told her no she wasn't but if she waited 30 days she would be. She waited until Jan 2025 and went into the store and called 611 again and they said yes she was eligible for an upgrade on her watch and phone. She gave them her old watch and phone and got the new one. At the same time she transferred to her boyfriends account. Fast forward to July 2025, we go in to get our granddaughter a new phone and find out we were still being billed for her old phone and watch-$53.00 a month. We were told to call 611.. they told us they could fix it at the end of July and to call back. We called 4 times with promises of this being resolved. We escalated it to a manager, twice. The first one said he saw what happen and would fix it and call us back no call received. The 2nd mgr told us they would transfer the charges to our daugthers account but that someone had to pay because she wasn't eligible for an upgrade. We are so upset. I asked to speak with someone higher in management and he said there was no one higher and that he gave us a way to resolve the issue. I explained they miss informed us and told our daugther she could upgrade when she couldn't and that wasn't our fault, he said he understood but someone has to pay for it. I told him yes, T-Mobile they miss informed us. So stressful and not fair this is a scam. They've already gotten an extra $364 from us for equipment that they took as a trade in. We asked to cancel our account and were told we would have to pay over $1,300.00 to cancel!! Filing a claim with BBB and FTC.RD4ever11 hours agoVisitor92Views0likes1CommentAdvanced WiFi configuration for TMO-G4AR?
First off, I've been spoiled by having a dedicated wifi router connected to my cable modem. This let me setup hardcoded IPs for both static and DHCP. I also setup up a password protected guest network. This allowed internet access, but no access to my home resources. Can any of this be done with the TMO-G4AR? I've found the T-Life app to be more of an Ad cannon than a management utility. I tried logging-in directly to the router from a browser. I was greatly disappointed. Fortunately, I defined a new network for the TMO, so I still have my original Wifi setup available. I'm going to connect the TMO-G4AR to the "uplink" port of my WiFi router. I'm hoping that will work. The bonus to that is no changes to my other devices.SolvedRogerinIL14 hours agoNewbie Caller213Views1like5CommentsWant to add 2nd TV to 5G Internet
We've been using TMobile 5G Internet for 3 years with little to no issues. Currently stream with one TV, have 2 cell phones and 2 laptops on the system. Would like to add a 2nd TV, but can TMobile's 5G system handle it?sms0322323 hours agoNetwork Novice47Views0likes2CommentsGroup texts not sending correctly or receiving at all on iPhone
Switched to TMobile 5 days ago. Was able to send and receive group texts until one day ago. I’ve got a solid connection both LTE and Wifi and made no settings changes prior to onset of this issue. Since onset of the issue, I’ve reset network settings and updated iOS operating system. On my side, when sending, it shows that I have sent to the group but each member is receiving it as a single message from me. I am not receiving any messages from the group. Messaging to individuals is working fine.RGrayman23 hours agoRoaming Rookie9.5KViews2likes7CommentsSelect Choice FAM UNL TT 50
Hello I have Select Choice FAM UNL TT 50 plan. I have been with Tmobile for almost 10 years. I added an additional line to my existing plan and T mobile is charging me $10 for an additional line and also $15 for 6 GB of Data. If the plan already has already high speed data included for $10 why are they charging me additional $15 for that line for 6GB of Data. Does any one know what Select Choice FAM UNL TT 50 plan has for adding a new line. The T mobile customer service has no knowledge about this plan and the call center people hung up on me few times when I asked what is covered and why I was getting charged additional $15 for data ? How much data is included in the $10 when you add the line I hear 2gb is already includedRaj1002 days agoNetwork Novice4.4KViews0likes4CommentsYou are thieves
I have 3 line, Two of those lines I closed/canceled in July tenth 2025, I just got informed that I'm still getting charged for the month of July AND August even though I canceled the line. I have a thick accent and when I first got the account they perfectly understood me but when I wanted to cancel my subscription they were pretending as if they didnt understand me. I have a daughter and this has NEVER happened with her when she tried canceling her own account. Please fix this thank you.90442233582 days agoNetwork Novice73Views0likes1Comment
