AutoCAD and VPN not working when connected to Gateway
We are in the process of switching over to using a T-Mobile gateway for our home internet. I work from home a couple days a week and I access my server at work through a VPN. And work with AutoCAD. The gateway seems to be connecting fine to the internet. All our streaming services are working great, I can access webpages and Outlook is running fine. However, When I connect to the VPN it shows its connected but when I open the server folder I just get a never ending loading status bar. Similarly with AutoCAD I am able to open the program but nothing loads and i get a never ending blue spinning wheel. IF I leave the programs running and unplug from the gateway and plug back into the Broadband everything loads immediately and works fine. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?Architect792 hours agoVisitor6Views0likes0CommentsLied to about phone costs
Has anyone else gone into a store, been told one price (in our case free!) and been charged a significant different price and then been told nothing can be done about it? I'm at my wits end how to handle this because no one at the store, the regional manager, Customer Care Supervisors, NO one has offered any help to us. We weren't even allowed to return the phones because it was after 30 days that we noticed. I'm afraid a lawsuit is all that might help and I don't have money for that. :-(Elishky183 hours agoVisitor24Views0likes2CommentsHave to unplug gateway multiple times a day in order to get speeds above 20mbs!!
Anyone else having similar issues? This all started a month ago and it's getting OLD!! I've called tech support ....nothing, just lip service and the result was the same; unplug-plug back in. It will be good for maybe an hour. Anyone with thoughts , ideas, anything would be better than not knowing. Thanks!!Paraquat677 hours agoTransmission Trainee32Views1like1CommentFinally fixed
Our home internet was horrible I was ready to try something else. I tried something different I factory reset the gateway and did not customize the WiFi. Still had very slow internet and the metrics looked good so as an experiment I plugged my Linksys router to the gateway and there it was. The speeds were well above 200 mbps which was a lot better. This gateway was new only 3 months old but obviously had a router issue. The T-Mobile tech came up with the same results when I called and set up a new gateway. Since replacing the gateway I have really consistent speeds 200-275 mbps without the linksys router. If you look at your metrics and are receiving a good signal it might be the router portion of your gateway. This is a simple way to find out. I literally went from hating to loving my T-Mobile home internet just like that.Rikles13 hours agoRoaming Rookie142Views1like1CommentAppleTV + subscription issue
I just activated my subscription to AppleTV+ but now its not letting me sign in. When I try to hit forgot password and go through what is required it tells me my account it locked. I tired contacting Apple about it but they weren't much help and told me to contact T-Mobile. Before I do that I thought I would check here first. Any help is appreciated.prchica_1516 hours agoVisitor11Views0likes0CommentsHome internet frequently disconnects wired connections
I have the T-Mobile 5g home internet with the TMO-G4AR modem and daily my 2 wired connections (using two different ports) disconnect. As soon as I reboot the modem the devices come back online. no issues with wireless connected devices. Is this a common problem? very frustrating since parts of my home security is connected wired to the modem.dbuffz19 hours agoNetwork Novice234Views0likes2CommentsLast day of service when cancelling?
Cancelling service and switching providers. How do I find out my last day so I can have a smooth transition?Solvedmike32320 hours agoNewbie Caller342Views0likes4CommentsCancellation dirty tricks
T-Mobile does not allow you to cancel a line online. So I called up and the rep - who I believe was in the Philippines and a little hard to understand - tells me that canceling in the middle of my billing cycle will incur a charge and I needed to wait and cancel on the first day of my next cycle in order to avoid that charge. She also offers to suspend that line (which you can do online and it costs $10 a month). I decline that and hang up thinking I would call back on the first day of my next billing cycle. But after I hung up I felt that didn’t make any sense. So I called back and again got a rep who appeared to be in the Philippines and a little difficult to understand. She also did what the first rep had done - tried to talk me into converting the tablet line that I was canceling into a voice line. She told me that if I canceled I would be ineligible for specials. But she ultimately was willing to cancel and did not mention the charge that the other rep had said would be incurred if I canceled mid month.Oracle9920 hours agoRoaming Rookie18KViews1like17CommentsT-Satellite turn off
Hello, I have constant problems with T-Satellite connecting on and reconnecting on my iPhone 16 pro max. It causes battery drain. I travel from area to area hiking full time. Sometimes I have full cellular coverage and when I don’t I have Starlink WiFi. And when I hike in areas without cellular it tries to connect constantly to satellite. This happens in my pocket and sends messages that it’s connected over and over. This sometimes happens at night when I’m on Starlink WiFi asleep. It also will not reconnect to cellular coverage automatically. It’s frustrating especially because it drains my battery. What I would like to do is have the ability to turn off satellite. And only use it when I need it. And without manually having to reconnect to cellular towers. I have started tickets with Apple. Thoughts?Santiagos20 hours agoNewbie Caller181Views2likes5CommentsWill Tmobile support Aiphor's Bluefox NX1 phone?
It's a tiny 4" android with current android but no 5g. It has VoLTE, but T-mobile intentinally didn't allow import models even though the stats and bandwidth worked. I want to downsize my phone and it's the only small viable option with a current android edition. https://aiphor.com/products/bluefox-nx1-4-0-android-smartphonetapac33322 hours agoVisitor19Views0likes1Comment
