T Mobile is Terrible!!!! I was scammed, they know it, but won't fix it.
I have been a customer of T Mobile for 10 years! I recently tried to add another line and called in to my business representative. He told me someone new was now covering my account and said they would be contacting me. The new person called me and said since you've been a customer for 10 years I can not only add a line but can upgrade all your phones and even give you 2 free i-watches. He said the Only thing I would have to pay would be the tax on the new phones. He also said my bill would only go up by $25 a month with the new line and this would not extend my contract in anyway but it is a new promotion for existing customers.... So he sent me 3 phones, and watches. I got my bill and it was 3X more than my previous monthly bill. I tried to call him and got voicemail over and over. He never would return my calls. Now his # is disconnected. I never did hear back from him. I called T mobile to see what was going on and apparently he added 8 lines to my account. Which I obviously did not agree to. They said they will escalate it to their "fraud department" and will have me an answer soon. I didn't hear back for a week so I called back. I had to repeat the exact story again. The person once again said they will contact me but not to callback in because they have to listen to the recording of every interaction and me calling back would delay the resolution. I told them I am not paying my bill until this is resolved and they agreed that I didn't have to until it was fixed. 3 days later my service was shut off due to lack of payment. I received a text notice from a collection dept. I called back in and once again repeated the story because they acted as if they was my first call. They once again said not to call back in so I didn't for 2 more weeks and once again my service was disconnected! I have been on the phone with them 11 times and its been several months now. They have disconnected my phone service 5 times now and every time I call in they say it wont be disconnected again. Once was when I was out of the country. They disconnected my service while I was out of the country leaving me with no phone. I went to the local store and they re-documented everything and sent several emails. They also informed me that the rep who signed me up charged me full price for all the phones, lines, and even added some tablet lines and I don't even have any tablets! They could see I haven't used the 5 extra lines and said the whole thing looked very strange. You'd think this would be an easy fix but I cannot begin to explain the run around I have had trying to work with them. I even offered to bring in all phones and the watches and give them all back if they would cancel my service and they have not agreed to it and apparently I have to wait to see what will happen after the 3 month long, so far, fraud investigation. It is looking like I need to hire an attorney just to reason with them or this will never be resolved. Not sure what else to do. All my phones are currently shut off. Now when I call customer service and type in my # it goes straight to a line that says I need to pay a minimum $1300 to restore my service. And I cannot get it to transfer to anyone live. It is a nightmare. If your considering switching to T-Mobile DON'T DO IT! No other provider could possibly be this unresponsive, dishonest, and hard to deal with. T mobile is awful.RGD0009 hours agoNewbie Caller1KViews1like7CommentsUnable to retrieve my $300 dollar prepaid card

We got a sync up kids watch for my daughter. It was working really well, but today we went to a water park and it got splashed with water and now it won't boot up. I left it out to dry for a 24 hrs but it still won't boot up. I leave it on the charger and it keeps booting up and shutting down and rebooting again. Is there a reset switch or something which I can use to get out of this infinite reboot loop.vdeolali13 hours agoVisitor7Views0likes0CommentsLost SIM card

Last week, we had the SE in our cart to replace my wife's iPhone 8 - we were about to order it and pay in full on the spot. I don't know what made us forget to press 'buy' in the end. So, I went back to it today. 1) I found the product is no longer in our cart. Though we are getting strange texts congratulating us on our new phone? (trying to encourage me to pair it with a new smart-watch!) This is CRM run-amok. 2) Worse, the product comes up as available; even has an estimated date for delivery... But today there is NO mechanism (button) available to actually purchase it; add it to cart and complete the transaction. Cynical View: Is Apple blocking SE sales to force loyal customers to purchase more expensive models; just like Apple used less-than-ethical means to sundown their older products by forcing updates that hurt power-management etc.? Is T-Mobile in collusion because that plan would synch users to longer contracts to pay off the new phones? And does it mean T-Mobile's CRM apparatus is just THAT mercenary and ill-informed to target people who haven't actually ordered yet? This is the point at which as an Apple user I begin to feel like an abused spouse... 'no, they're not that bad. They have good heart... it's just they have needs... and I understand that... and I've been in this house so long... it will be okay.' Cautiously Optimistic View: Is the SE just out of stock and that's why the site won't let us purchase it or add it to the cart -- contrary to the estimated delivery date of 17 June on the website? Naive View: Is the website just broken? Realist and Sad View: I know EU was having Union Issues and had to take the SE out of circulation in 26 'countries/city-states.' and I'm sure China's on-again/off-again tariff situation may be part of the equation. I know Apple stopped making the 256 model a couple months ago. Nevertheless, T-Mobile's website doesn't offer this explanation and shows the phone as available. Does anyone know the truth?mdwhit15 hours agoNetwork Novice55Views0likes2CommentsT-Mobile Promotion Scam
To start with, I signed up on a waiting list due to not having 5g service in my area for Home Internet. I received an email finally at the end of November 2024 about 5g being available. So I signed up right then. I was with Verizon home lte internet but I never liked it. I'm in rural area and only have 4mb dsl available. Before signing up the Tmobile was running a promotion for a $200 prepaid Visa or Mastercard or a smart TV of some kind for activating as a new customer 5g home internet account only. No extra lines or anything else. I filled out for the promotion and my internet box showed up on December 3rd 2024. I was told it would take 10-12 weeks. In around January or February, service was out in my area for a couple hours and I called in to report it. While doing so I also stated I had not received my prepaid card yet. Representative told me he seen where I signed up and it takes awhile. I left it at that. Now May 30th. I remembered I still haven't gotten it. Called to check on it. Was told no record of anything. They did have a $200 promotion but it ended October 31st. 2024. I would only be available for a $150 promotion but they needed to get permission and prove I filled out for it. Was on hold for about 45 minutes when I was transferred to rebate department. Representative could see i activated and applied on December 4th 2024 but said it was denied for some odd reason. I said that isn't right at all. I was told it all went through. Put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then said they could only do a $150 bill credit and that's it. I said that's . I signed up for the $200 Prepaid card not a bill credit. Told her about filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau and I will go from there. Told them thank you for their help but Tmobile is a scam and I did not want to discuss further. Said goodnight. About 10 minutes later got a phone call back from Tmobile stating they were gonna leave my case open until Tuesday June 3rd in case I change my mind and want the bill credit. I said no ma'am I will not be taking a bill credit and thank you and good night. So where do I go from here after filing the complaint with the BBB? I'm not letting them screw me out of what I was promised and what was advertised. This is pure . Anyone have any other ideas? Any issues the same as mine?jdaddybaker15 hours agoNetwork Novice118Views0likes1Comment- curt1109194515 hours agoVisitor29Views0likes2Comments
VPN issues, can't connect to barracude VPN nor openVPN
Barracuda VPN, for work, refuses to connect at all. Worked fine over Calyx hotspot which uses Tmo towers, so really confused on what causes the failure on home internet gateway vs. the Calyx hotspot. - OpenVPN attempted as a bandaide to tunnel through Tmo VPN issues. DD-WRT reports the VPN makes a succesful connection but no clients can actually get any bandwidth through the router while “connected” to openVPN server.Solved1.4KViews0likes4Comments
