Network signal has vanished....no more connectivity
Around mid to late April, my T-Mobile network signal vanished after 8 years of service. Additionally, wifi calling stopped working at the same time. Every person I talk to in customer care and technical support gives me a different excuse after doing all the possible troubleshooting strategies including diagnostics on my phone. When I ask "What has changed?", the latest excuses include 'due to tower maintainance and upgrades, the signal is no longer being broadcast to my location' (no timeline for reinstating signal), and, 'it's due to terrain issues'. I can guarantee the terrain has not changed! I've made numerous requests for ground crews to assess the situation but nothing seems to happen other than more lip service. The last agent I spoke with recommended I switch to a different carrier. I'm on an older 55+ plan for $55/month which includes unlimited everything forever until I either cancel service or change my plan. I'm starting to wonder if they are trying to get me to abandon my plan since it's no longer available to new subscribers. Is anyone else having similar trouble with ongoing signal or connectivity issues?gitakat4 minutes agoVisitor0Views0likes0CommentsFinally got Home Internet with very disappointing results
I was excited to finally have the T-Mobile home internet as an option only to discover after several calls to support that it’s just the weak signal even though the towers are nearby. Slow connections cause streaming tv to buffer (always at the time when you really want to see/hear it! At first they told me that there was work being done on towers in my area so I waited a week and no improvement. Next support said she would open a work order and that I would get an email. Waited another week and no email so another call to support and after the standard trouble shooting he had me go outside and do a Speedtest on my phone which had a slow connection 7.8 down/2.1 up. He told me there would be tower upgrades but until then I would never get strong signals. I asked if there is a schedule for the upgrades and he said no. I really don’t want to go back to the only cable provider in our area but it seems I’ll have to. Henderson NevadaJbkmsp3 hours agoVisitor17Views0likes0CommentsLost SIM card
Hi, I am currently working overseas. Somehow, my SIM card disappeared. May I request a replacement SIM card for my account, keeping the same phone number? Although my card was lost, and I'm still paying the bill monthly. Since there is no Live Chat, please let me know how I can contact with?chugor4 hours agoVisitor24Views0likes2Comments- pdicrispino16 hours agoVisitor18Views0likes0Comments
International use
I am visiting Japan. I am supposed to get welcome text message when I arrive in Japan and I should have been able to use text or call without WiFi setting even though I didn’t add on any another service because my plan is Magenta. However my phone can’t work without WiFi, only my daughter’s phone works in same situation. We are same account and plan. It would be so appreciated if you give me an advice to solve. Thanks in advance.sweetcake17 hours agoNetwork Novice58Views0likes4CommentsNeed proof of purchase
Hi, I bought all of my apple devices from T-Mobile. I know I should keep receipts but life has not been easy. I need proof of purchase for the devices I have purchased. I have gone to purchase history but it only lists the last four devices. How do I get this information fro T Mobile?kitkha17 hours agoNetwork Novice16Views0likes1Comment- dadiralc117 hours agoNetwork Novice16Views0likes1Comment
Has T-Mobile stopped selling the iPhone SE?
Last week, we had the SE in our cart to replace my wife's iPhone 8 - we were about to order it and pay in full on the spot. I don't know what made us forget to press 'buy' in the end. So, I went back to it today. 1) I found the product is no longer in our cart. Though we are getting strange texts congratulating us on our new phone? (trying to encourage me to pair it with a new smart-watch!) This is CRM run-amok. 2) Worse, the product comes up as available; even has an estimated date for delivery... But today there is NO mechanism (button) available to actually purchase it; add it to cart and complete the transaction. Cynical View: Is Apple blocking SE sales to force loyal customers to purchase more expensive models; just like Apple used less-than-ethical means to sundown their older products by forcing updates that hurt power-management etc.? Is T-Mobile in collusion because that plan would synch users to longer contracts to pay off the new phones? And does it mean T-Mobile's CRM apparatus is just THAT mercenary and ill-informed to target people who haven't actually ordered yet? This is the point at which as an Apple user I begin to feel like an abused spouse... 'no, they're not that bad. They have good heart... it's just they have needs... and I understand that... and I've been in this house so long... it will be okay.' Cautiously Optimistic View: Is the SE just out of stock and that's why the site won't let us purchase it or add it to the cart -- contrary to the estimated delivery date of 17 June on the website? Naive View: Is the website just broken? Realist and Sad View: I know EU was having Union Issues and had to take the SE out of circulation in 26 'countries/city-states.' and I'm sure China's on-again/off-again tariff situation may be part of the equation. I know Apple stopped making the 256 model a couple months ago. Nevertheless, T-Mobile's website doesn't offer this explanation and shows the phone as available. Does anyone know the truth?mdwhit17 hours agoVisitor18Views0likes1CommentViX Premium
1 MIN READ I don’t know about you, but I have completely gotten rid of regular cable service and switched over to streaming services almost exclusively. (I say almost because who doesn’t love going to a movie theater once in a while?) With all of the streaming services available, there is a way to watch just about anything nowadays. I love that T-Mobile partners with so many of the streaming companies and guess what! Another one is coming to our lineup! ViX Premium is a streaming service that offers over 10,000 hours of Spanish-speaking content including news, sports, and original series, along with so much more. I'm looking to learn Spanish and I want to sign up because I've been told that watching Spanish TV is a great first step to getting used to the language. PLUS starting August 11th T-Mobile is offering a ViX Premium ON US deal, so if I have the right plan why not get it for free and try it out? Limited-time offer; subject to change. Register for code and then redeem within 30 days. Qualifying service and new ViX Premium account required. Max 1 code/account. Univision Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply.
