Google msgs 'Group Chat'
Nord n20 android and Google messages with iPhone and Android mixed group chat members. Lately I have multiple chat groups getting renamed to 'Group Chat', hard to know who I'm texting with when multiple groups are labeled group chat. I can't change the name because I'm not the administrator. Frustrating. Transfer Charge
Tonight my girlfriend was checking her bank balance and she noticed she had a charge from T-Mobile, "Withdrawal from T-Mobile Retry PYMT" to be exact, for 57.33. We share t-mobile account, and my card is the only one on the account. We check both on her app and mine to see if we missed something but nothing matching the amount comes up. Also, when I click the charge on my banking app it's labeled as "Transfer". I've had up to 7 lines with T-Mobile and had no plans to look for a different carrier. When T-Mobile announced a deal with Starlink, I suddenly felt a need to look into switching carriers. I cannot feel good about doing business with any company that promotes and pays for services from Musk's companies. The man is awful on so many levels and is now involved in the decimation of our government institutions and services, I wish for all of his businesses to fail so that he can no longer wield the power of his wealth. I have hearing problems and have difficulty to communicate with phone calls with t-mobile representatives. So I sent two(2) emails to customercare T-mobile.com. The emails have been delivered successfully for a week now but no response from t-mobile. Following is the content of my emails. To whom it may concern: Kindly forward this email to person/department who have authority to help. Thank you ! I have a “legacy pay as you go” account with t-Mobile for a long time. On 6/3/2025, the day before expiring date(6/4/2025), I logged into my account and found a confusing information in my account. My account showed Current available balance was $16.77 and a renewal amount is $0.00. And my autopay option was checked. I was a little confused and engaged into live chat options to clarify. Joseii - 11:50AM, live representative started to chat with me. After spend some time understanding my concern, (Joseii- 12:27PM)he confirmed with following statements: “Given your current available balance of $16.77 and a renewal amount of $0.00, you do not need to take any immediate action to keep your account active. The legacy “$3 Pay As You Go “ plan ensures your account remains active as long as the balance does not fall below $3. If your account balance does fall below $3, it will transition to a “Not Paid “ status, and you will need to refill to meet the minimum required balance of $3 within 30 days to return to “Paid “ status.” So I thanked him and copied my chat record. On 6/5/2025, I was surprised to find out that my service has been suspended and my available balance became $0.00 and my renewal amount remained $0.00. My wife and I visited t-mobile office at El Toro & Rockfield, store 8909. Alejandro Contreras, mobile expert helped me and checked with his boss. He told me and my wife : Everything will be fine. My available balance of $16.77 has been approved and will be adjusted to my account and I do not need to do anything , just wait. My account will be activated within a day or two. I can’t use my phone in the meantime waiting my account being refreshed. Tuesday June 10 After waiting for two (2) business days. My account has not been recovered and effective balance remains $0.00, renewal amount remains $0.00. My wife and I visited t-mobile office at El Toro & Rockfield, store 8909 again. Alejandro Contreras told us he cannot help. We asked him to help us called some who can help. He used his line phone (but refused to give us contact number) to connect to Alcy then her supervisor Serina. Because my hearing impaired problem, my wife talked with each of them for a total over two(2) hours. Serina just repeated saying “no refund”. I can refill with $15.00. Disregard the fact that the statement of joseii and promise from Alejandro Contreras. (For your reference they have asked Alejandro Contreras to verify my chat record with joseii). This is a most surprising to me for t-mobile claiming “OUR COMMITMENT: to unlimited and net neutrality “. I hope this email will reach someone who is authorized to help. My request is very simple: Refund my available balance of $16.77 by send me a check. Let me know why a renewal amount $0.00 and enrolled autopay ended up with my account being suspended? I am confused and like to know what have I done wrong? I will consider to add $15.00 for a total new start depending on the outcome of this dispute. My credit card may need updating for expiration date. So refund to my current credit on record may not work. I have the worst service where I live. I have 0 to 1 bar most of the time. Even better it's SOS and then a text telling me I'm on Satellite now for SMS. I can't get a person on the phone. I've been sent to Apple to get my device checkout it's fine. two month old iPhone 16ProMax no issues. When I drive someplace else I usually get signal. The 5g Coverage is no where to be found. I have been a customer of T Mobile for 10 years! I recently tried to add another line and called in to my business representative. He told me someone new was now covering my account and said they would be contacting me. The new person called me and said since you've been a customer for 10 years I can not only add a line but can upgrade all your phones and even give you 2 free i-watches. He said the Only thing I would have to pay would be the tax on the new phones. He also said my bill would only go up by $25 a month with the new line and this would not extend my contract in anyway but it is a new promotion for existing customers.... So he sent me 3 phones, and watches. I got my bill and it was 3X more than my previous monthly bill. I tried to call him and got voicemail over and over. He never would return my calls. Now his # is disconnected. I never did hear back from him. I called T mobile to see what was going on and apparently he added 8 lines to my account. Which I obviously did not agree to. They said they will escalate it to their "fraud department" and will have me an answer soon. I didn't hear back for a week so I called back. I had to repeat the exact story again. The person once again said they will contact me but not to callback in because they have to listen to the recording of every interaction and me calling back would delay the resolution. I told them I am not paying my bill until this is resolved and they agreed that I didn't have to until it was fixed. 3 days later my service was shut off due to lack of payment. I received a text notice from a collection dept. I called back in and once again repeated the story because they acted as if they was my first call. They once again said not to call back in so I didn't for 2 more weeks and once again my service was disconnected! I have been on the phone with them 11 times and its been several months now. They have disconnected my phone service 5 times now and every time I call in they say it wont be disconnected again. Once was when I was out of the country. They disconnected my service while I was out of the country leaving me with no phone. I went to the local store and they re-documented everything and sent several emails. They also informed me that the rep who signed me up charged me full price for all the phones, lines, and even added some tablet lines and I don't even have any tablets! They could see I haven't used the 5 extra lines and said the whole thing looked very strange. You'd think this would be an easy fix but I cannot begin to explain the run around I have had trying to work with them. I even offered to bring in all phones and the watches and give them all back if they would cancel my service and they have not agreed to it and apparently I have to wait to see what will happen after the 3 month long, so far, fraud investigation. It is looking like I need to hire an attorney just to reason with them or this will never be resolved. Not sure what else to do. All my phones are currently shut off. Now when I call customer service and type in my # it goes straight to a line that says I need to pay a minimum $1300 to restore my service. And I cannot get it to transfer to anyone live. It is a nightmare. If your considering switching to T-Mobile DON'T DO IT! No other provider could possibly be this unresponsive, dishonest, and hard to deal with. We got a sync up kids watch for my daughter. It was working really well, but today we went to a water park and it got splashed with water and now it won't boot up. I left it out to dry for a 24 hrs but it still won't boot up. I leave it on the charger and it keeps booting up and shutting down and rebooting again.
