T mobiles deceptive practices
Hard to tell if anyone ever actually received their free fire TV for the T Mobile Home Internet promo. I was advised I qualified I was even given a number which I saved on my computer in their redemption center. I've contacted them numerous times and I'm always told we're looking into whether or not you qualify, despite the fact that we already told me I quote for. Now when I go back to the redemption scenario it will not let me enter a date prior to June of 2024. Obviously their intent is to bring you in circles until you finally get frustrated and give up. Been AT mobile customer for as long as I can remember. Most certainly not the company I signed up for originally. Dare I say you've become another Verizon. My T-Mobile 5g home modem is blocking all devices as it is not accepting the correct password, and giving the message "incorrect password". This happened last week as well, for the first time, and I thought it had been changed by an unauthorized connection. I unplugged the unit from electricity, counted to 100, plugged it back in and retried; all was fine, as if the issue of "incorrect password " was a figment of my imagination. Unfortunately, clearly this is a recurring issue. How do I avoid the problem of the modem rejecting all wifi connections, other than going back to Comcast? I used the Rose Farmers promotion for the $30 flowers or whatever and they promised 2 day free shipping. Now it's FIVE DAYS. They gave me a $40 credit on my NEXT order but they won't do anything about the present situation, just sorry, tough luck. They offer a guaranteed delivery option on their website for five bucks and I guess if you don't take that they'll take as long as they want to ship perishable, fresh flowers to you. Now I have to use PayPal purchase protection to try to get my money back. What a headache and a waste. If you see this promo do NOT take it, tell your friends. I have Simple Choice North America plan which has unlimited data with 2GB at 5 G rate. Some time back I received a message suggesting it has changed to Unlimited 5G data on this plan. I lost that communication. I have had this problem since November. Someone will call me and i will either swipe to answer or hit the green button and the call will get stuck on 00:00 then just hang up or I will try to call someone and the call won’t connect and it just goes straight to voicemail multiple times. I have tried changing my call settings from wifi calling to no wifi calling to lte to 5g. I even got a new phone thinking it was a problem because of an old phone. Tmobile reset my esim and the problem still persist. I can't walk up to a pay phone and call... I ported over to T-Mobile last night and Xfinity probably hasn't released my number - and I'm mangled in a halfway state. Can't call, can't text. How can I chat with support to get this resolved? This is a Description of our Complaint with T-Mobile and the BBB: For the past almost 3 years we have had all of our family cell phone lines with T-Mobile. We switched over from Verizon about 3 years ago because we responded to a promotion offered by T-Mobile whereby offered much better coverage at much better prices. Turns out that their marketing in advertising campaign was misleading and inaccurate at best. From day one, the coverage and reception was below any basic level of acceptance causing phone calls in messages to drop or fail at a rate off three failed for one success. After a few months, I complained with T-Mobile, they profusely apologized and told us to be patient because they were in the process of rolling out their new 5G Network and also merging their Network with sprints, and they said that the coverage and service issues will greatly improve in a matter of weeks or a couple of months at the most. When this didn't happen, I called to request a transfer of service and they insisted that it was just a matter of time for their coverage and service to noticeably improve and they offer a nominal remporary discount to keep us from switching over. As expected, the coverage and service not only did not improve but got worse. After another 12 months have gone by and everyone in our household having being fed up with dropped calls failed messages in lack of connectivity, we have decided to switch over to another carrier. When I call T-Mobile to inquire about the process, they told me that we're free to switch over but they're going to charge us retractively rebates and fees that they have waived because we're not meeting the term of our contract. And my question to them what kind of compensation do we get for the 3 years of failing to provide the most basic service that we have been faithfully paying in full for almost 3 years. We'll know that these are tactics that these types of companies use to hold people hostage regardless of whether they are the ones at fault in causing you to leave. Be aware of this free trail Tmobile home internet deal. I started my free trail on 1/9/2025 and I returned the box on 1/17/2025. But Tmobile charged me $50 on 1/31/2025. I called them several times and were told to wait until 2/10/2025 for the full refund of $50. Today, I spent 3 hours calling Tmobile's customer support l and got answer that free trail is no longer available. However, this free trail offer is still available on Tmobile website. Hello, I am trying to figure out a battery backup for my Nokia 5G21 Internet Gateway. I have read several discussions here and am confused about which might be the best to get and how to correctly hook it up. I am looking for one that will power my Gateway for several hours - not just a few minutes - but I am not sure how to judge the runtime based on the "size" of the backup. I also want to be sure that my internet connection works when on the backup power- that's the whole point. I was told by CyberPower that the waveform is important and they say using a simulated sinewave might not allow for the internet to run smoothly. Another question would be how to plug in the gateway. One discussion talked of using the 12VDC connector to power the gateway rather than just plugging the gateway into one of the surge plugs. Does that make more sense and would that allow for a longer run time?
