Flagship price, not a flagship phone

Switched from Samsung s20fe, a 5 year old phone. The s20fe had a better camera, telephoto and wireless charging that was fast. The pixel 9 loses telephoto, no manual camera mode, pics are blurry especially low light. And the wireless charging on the pixel 9 is terrible. You might get a full charge after 8 hours. Pixel 9 feels like an 8 year old phone, definitely not a flagship.

Great small phone

I got this phone while opening a new line with T Mobile and I have loved every bit of it so far. The form factor is excellent. In a world dominated by massive smartphones of the +/Ultra/Max/XL sizes, this phone carved its own path with its much more ergonomical form factor, making for easy one handed use. It doesn't take up a ton of space in pocket either. I got mine in Obsidian and I just love how sleek and professional it looks, and the matte sides are awesome. The display is excellent and plenty bright. A super smooth refresh rate makes it seem like pages run like butter. Resolution is plenty adequate . Camera as per the norm for Pixel phones is awesome. Night shots come out with excellent detail and normal shots look about as close to what I see with my eyes as any phone I've ever had. Macro mode provides for some awesome detailing. I haven't really used AI much, so I can't comment on that

Yes, I recommend this product.

A Photographer's tool

The Pixel 9 is a very good phone and is the result of continuous refinement over the years. I have used several pixel phones in the past including, 3a, 7 and 8, the Pixel 9 finally feels like a flagship phone in the hands and based on my use in the last few days. I do have the iPhone 15 as my main phone currently and the pixel is on my second line. I prefer the video of the iPhone, however the pixel in my opinion is a better tool for still photography. I find the screen to be much better than what the iPhone has, the higher refresh rate of 120Hz really makes a difference. If picture taking is your primary activity when it comes to phones The Pixel 9 series of phones is a better choice. If you are more inclined towards videography, the iPhone would be your best bet.

Yes, I recommend this product.

It is not a good choice!!! You need to understand that manufacturer information indicate all specification from phone, but you can't use it.... For example this phone has 50 mega pixels camera, but you can get foto only with 9 mega pixels... Only pro version can create foto in full size.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not what I expected

I bought this a little over 6 weeks ago upgrading from 7, because 7 was giving me problems. This was 10 times worst. The passwords kept disappearing, messages disappeared. Searches weren't like my desktop. The only thing this was good for was pics. Messages weren't coming in, and/or phone calls if I missed them. When I shut off the phone they would all come up. After several attemps with support, I realize it was just the phone. And the fingertip sensor worked when it wanted to.

Great display and best for photography

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Pixel 9 is an impressive addition to the Pixel lineup, with standout features like its vibrant OLED display and smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and gaming a delight. The camera performance is top-notch, with excellent color accuracy and impressive low-light capabilities, further solidifying Google's reputation for great photography. The Tensor chip ensures smooth performance.. Battery life is solid lasting full day with moderate use. The software experience is where the Pixel 9 truly shines, with a clean, fast, and up-to-date Android experience. Overall, I like this phone.

An excellent phone!

Love the Pixel 9! I previously had the Pixel 6 and was never happy with the modem on the phone I was always losing my internet connection...the exynos modem model they were using was not very good. But the Pixel 9 has an upgraded version and it is very reliable and provides faster 5G speeds. Aside from that, the G4 Tensor chip handles all tasks perfectly and does not get the phone warm as the G1 did on my 6 when being pushed. The display and camera are awesome as well....just very happy overall!
