Garbage Phone

Just got this phone a couple days ago, I traded in my Galaxy Note 8 for it. Can I just say I'd take a Galaxy S4 and be outdated over this terrible device. This phone has no photo gallery, you have to use Google Photos which requires internet. It also has no way of organizing the app drawer, even my old phones from 7 years ago could do that. And the way you close out apps is ridiculous, you have to swipe up and hold it a bit and even then it works like 1/3 of the time. This phone is bad just plain and simple Also, I see 0 difference between 4G and 5G so I don't know why you guys are acting like it's the next big thing when it works just as good as 4G and not any better.

Amazing phone

I absolutely love this phone. I've had it for about a month now and I do not regret getting it. I came over from the OnePlus 7t and let me tell you. HUGE difference. Such a simpler and cleaner software experience. I love the photos app and their phone and messaging app. Don't really care that it's plastic, these phones are more for the software experience anyway. Call quality is amazing. It was so bad on my OnePlus 7t that when I got this phone it was such a relief. I recommend highly to get this phone. Remember the hardware is only what's on the outside and the software is what you as the consumer spends most of their time on.

awesome phone at a great price

I got this phone about 3 months ago. Coming from the Galaxy S9 Plus which I had for about 4 years. In many ways it is like my S9 but double the storage and for the $500 price you can't beat it .It has a better camera better signal and I just didn't want another $1,000 phone. I am completely happy with my choice the battery lasts me all day I've never gone without having to charge it the camera takes phenomenal pictures the 5G signal I get just about everywhere now even places I didn't think I was going to get it

Yes, I recommend this product.

Best Phone I've Ever Owned

I don't understand the negative reviews on this phone from others, I think it's terrific. The screen is sharp and clear, the battery life is insane, it's got a clean build of Android, and the software updates from Google are right on time. Plus, it has a headphone jack and I prefer the polycarbonate back to breakable glass. It's measureably faster than the Pixel 3a I upgraded from, and the 5G is a nice bonus in the area I live. Finally, the price is terrific, as is the TMO trade-in deal. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Midrange Phone

I already have a flagship, the LG V60. It is awesome, especially the Quad Dac and the camera with all its setting options. But it is a monster. Big and a little heavy. I wanted a secondary phone to use for Digits that was smaller and the Pixel 4a 5G is perfect for me. I don't need flagship specs butbI do expect a good camera and the Pixel delivers. No fancy settings or options, just point and shoot. It is one of the best. I don't play games so the midrange processor is fantastic and smooth and all that I need. Great battery life and the phone is just the right size and weight. Much better in the pocket while out walking. Three years of software updates is beaten only by the iPhone. If you temper your expectations the Pixel 4a 5G may be the perfect ohone for you.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good overall

Very excellent phone. I had been researching many phones and found that this phone fits my needs perfectly. Yes you do have to download some additional apps such as gallery and photo/video editor, but we do that on any phone already. I got used to the gesture navigation easily, although you can easily enable the three buttons that will display at the bottom of your screen. Even with the new cheaper Nord 5g out this phone still has features the Nord doesn't. Video stabilization, night pictures, the pictures are awesome, good speakers, battery optimizing, gorilla glass oled screen, higher resolution, small enough to fit in pocket easier. If water resist is not a must, this is a great phone, it's the only thing missing to me. But the price is good. New water resist pouches are available now anyway.

Great battery life!

Awesome phone! Nice looking screen, stock android and $500 bucks! Can easily compete with the pricier phones. Battery life is excellent. I highly recommend turning off 5G. I've had several 5g phones and not only does 5g not make any difference, at times it may even be slower than LTE, it really draines the batteries. Maybe because its searching for the signal even though it says 5g. I think it will be a few years still before you can actually use 5g properly. Sorry Tmobile..

Yes, I recommend this product.

Another goof Pixel

I purchased this phone 6 months ago for my wife, who loves the Pixel handsets because of simplicity, great camera and frequent updates. It does require that you do some setting changes to make it work to your liking. My wife likes to also have an on phone photo gallery, so I downloaded Gallery Go, which is the on phone equivalent to photos. She doesn't like gestures, so I used the option for the "3 button setup" that most people are used to. I see a lot of negative ratings for this phone, and I don't get most of them. This is a really good fast phone with updates coming faster than anyone else puts them out. Sometimes a bit of patience and reading instructions can go a long way. Sometimes you can also just get a glitchy phone. I have never had an issue with timely returns from T-Mobile. If you want a great mid-range 5G phone, try this one.

Yes, I recommend this product.
