Questions about this program?

The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB) is a temporary program launched by the FCC to help subsidize the cost of high-speed Internet services for households struggling financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

T-Mobile is participating in the FCC's Emergency Broadband Benefit Program to ensure households affected by the COVID-19 pandemic are able to stay connected to work, education, healthcare and other services.

Any type of government agency may enroll EBB-eligible households in EBB-supported service provided by T-Mobile. Households must verify their own eligibility by utilizing the National Verifier.  Once deemed eligible by the National Verifier, T-Mobile will work directly with government agencies to provision service to qualifying households.

T-Mobile will contract directly with government agencies to provide EBB-supported service to qualifying households.  The government agency will be responsible for paying for the cost of eligible service.

Households receiving EBB-supported service that enrolled through a government agency may contact T-Mobile Customer Care for assistance.

Since T-Mobile is requiring all customers to verify their eligibility through the National Verifier, government agencies are not required to retain eligibility documentation. Government agencies are required to provide eligible households with a MSIDN so that they may enroll for EBB-supported service through T-Mobile.

If a household is de-enrolled from EBB, the customer’s account will be cancelled, and the government agency’s bill will remain the same.
