Your phone will continue to work on the T-Mobile network. Some devices may require a SIM swap or device upgrade—you will have 30 days after migration to complete any required action.

30-day action window after migration day.

T-Mobile verifies if your device is compatible with our network.

Compatible devices: no action needed. Incompatible: proceed to next steps.

If your SIM needs to be replaced, T-Mobile will notify you after migration.

You'll have 30 days post-migration to complete the swap at any T-Mobile store or by mail.

If your device is incompatible, you will need to replace the device and SIM.

You'll have 30 days post-migration to complete this. Trade-in offers are available through T-Mobile Care or your account rep.

If your line is enrolled in Wireless/Data Priority Service, you will need to replace the SIM card.

In some instances you might also need to replace the device.

Migration timeline.

Now until migration.

Check if your device or SIM needs to be replaced. Watch for communications from T-Mobile with your specific instructions.

Migration day.

Your service moves to the T-Mobile network automatically. Most customers will not experience interruption.

Within 30 days post-migration.

Complete any device or SIM upgrades for voice and MINT lines. Failure to act may result in loss of connectivity.
