With the new “Personal Help Desk” accessible via the Tech PHD app, you get personal, immediate technical and diagnostic support (via chat, phone and self-serve resources) for your connected devices like printers, routers, TVs and game consoles. Support for connected devices is limited to setup, configuration or resolution of a home network connectivity issue.

McAfee® Security for T-Mobile, accessible via the McAfee® Security for T-Mobile app, provides lost device location and management, data protection, password management, and battery optimization on up to 10 compatible devices. Only T-Mobile offers our customers ID theft protection, multi-device virus protection, app scanning and safe browsing.

McAfee Security for T-Mobile with ID Protection helps you:

You can add the McAfee Security for T-Mobile with ID Protection software to up to 10 eligible household devices.

Device Protection may only be added during a “qualifying event”. Typically, this is within 14 days of the purchase (order date) of a T-Mobile USA branded device from an authorized T-Mobile channel (T-Mobile retail stores nationwide, authorized postpaid dealers, Costco, Customer Care, and Telesales). Additionally, there are occasional “open enrollment” periods. Qualifying events apply to new customers and existing customers who are upgrading their device.

Yes! PDP Plus or JUMP! Plus may be added to eligible devices on business lines.

JUMP! is an exclusive program for T-Mobile customers that lets you upgrade your EIP financed device more often AND includes enrollment in Premium Device Protection. With JUMP! Upgrades, you can upgrade your current device once you've paid 50% of your device cost and any remaining EIP balance will be paid off.

T-Mobile customers with JUMP! or Premium Device Protection featuring AppleCare Services purchased on or after March 26, 2017 will enjoy these benefits:

  • Service and support direct from Apple.
  • 24/7 priority access to Apple experts via chat or phone.
  • Software support for iOS, iCloud, and Apple-branded iOS apps.
  • Hardware coverage for your iPhone or iPad, battery, and included accessories.
  • Apple-certified repair or replacement with Express Replacement Service.
  • Service at Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers.
  • Access to lower service fees - $29 for iPhone accidental screen damage for first two screen repairs, $99 for any other iPhone accidental damage; $49 for iPad accidental damage.

T-Mobile customers who purchase Premium Device Protection featuring AppleCare Services on or after March 26, 2017 on a qualified T-Mobile Apple device have AppleCare Services included. You can also get AppleCare Services when you add JUMP! or Premium Device Protection featuring AppleCare Services within 14 days of a qualified T-Mobile Apple device purchase.
