T-Mobile @Home service* gives you unlimited nationwide calling from your home telephone. Just plug your home phone line into the T-Mobile @Home HiPort™ wireless router or adapter and talk as much as you like for only $9.99/month.

You'll need the following:

• An existing broadband Internet connection
• T-Mobile @Home HiPort^TM wireless router or adapter
• T-Mobile @Home service
• A qualifying T-Mobile mobile voice rate plan. This includes single-line plans $39.99 and up, as well as family plans $49.99 and up. Plans below these amounts are not eligible. FlexPaySM, Prepaid, SmartAccess, kidConnect® are also not eligible.
• A compatible home phone (5.8 GHz cordless phone) or traditional touch-tone phone

T-Mobile @Home sets up almost instantly. The T-Mobile @Home HiPort wireless router comes with an easy-to-use installation CD to walk you through the process step by step. The T-Mobile @Home HiPort adapter offers easy, fast, and convenient setup without the need for an installation CD.

Many of these items have a wireless or Internet alternative, or you can keep a separate landline but change to the "basic rate" and still use T-Mobile @Home for all your calling needs. Even with the additional charge of the basic service, coupled with T-Mobile @Home, your combined monthly cost should still be less, including unlimited long distance. Please be aware, however, that the basic service from the landline phone company most likely will not cover long distance charges. Please contact your landline and service companies before pursuing this option.

The T-Mobile @Home HiPort™ will provide you with top-quality service. It includes a full one-year warranty to ensure trouble-free operation.

Both HiPort™ devices are designed for T-Mobile @Home® service and include a SIM card. The HiPort™ wireless router provides wireless Internet connectivity and connects your home phone to the Internet. It supports up to two home phone lines and comes with an easy-to-use installation CD to walk you through the process step by step.

The HiPort™ adapter also connects your home phone to the Internet, but does not provide wireless Internet connectivity. It supports one home phone line and offers quick plug-and-play setup, without the need for a CD. The HiPort™ adapter is perfect if you’re looking to add T-Mobile @Home® service, but already have a wireless router or don’t need one.

Yes.

Broadband Internet service is high-speed Internet access through cable, DSL, or FiOs. Dial-up, satellite, and WiMax (Clearwire or Xanadoo) services are not compatible with T-Mobile @Home.

Yes. You can transfer your home phone number to T-Mobile so that family and friends can continue to call you at the same familiar number.

Transferring your number averages six days but can take up to 10 days. You can continue using your current landline service until your number is transferred.

For the best rates on international calls made from your home phone, you’ll want to add on the T-Mobile @Home International Discounted Calling service. Without the add-on service, you can still place international calls from your home phone, but regular international long distance rates will apply.

Most touch-tone landline phones will work with the new plan. As a convenience, we also offer a VTech® cordless phone that works well with T-Mobile @Home.

The VTech® phone offers clearer reception and a wider range than typical cordless phones, plus, it doesn't interfere with household appliances. Additionally, we've configured it to offer customers easy access to T-Mobile services including T-Mobile Voice Mail and Customer Care.

Yes. When you plug your home phone into the T-Mobile @Home HiPort^TM, it will work as if you plugged the phone into the wall, with a few upgrades. You’ll see a blue light on the front of the HiPort™ that blinks when there is a VoiceMail message. You’ll also be able to contact T-Mobile Customer Care directly by dialing 611 from your phone.

T-Mobile @Home service works through a broadband Internet connection. As T-Mobile is not an Internet service provider, you’ll need a compatible broadband Internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 256 kbps: cable, DSL, or FiOs. Sorry, dial-up, satellite, and WiMax (Clearwire or Xanadoo) are not compatible.

Yes. To use T-Mobile @Home service, you’ll need a T-Mobile @Home HiPort™ wireless router or adapter, which connects your home phone to the Internet. Both HiPort™ devices are designed for T-Mobile @Home® service and include a SIM card.
