Pretty Good
I have had this phone for a couple of weeks, Love the call quality, actually the first phone that I can really hear the person I am talking to and do not have to constantly ask "what?" I wish that I could delete or hide apps that am not interested in that are preloaded. My biggest complaint? I was excited that the S3 had a built in FM radio that would allow you to record songs onto your phone, would not eat up data, like apps that are downloaded. I have come to find out that NOT ALL S3's have the built in FM-mine does not! I am really disappointed!!

Best phone I've ever used
Best phone I've ever used. The build quality is fine, many people complain about how "plasticy" Samsung phones are but it really feels good in the hand with the rounded edges vs the sharp edges some other high end phones use.
The overall experience is great. This is an excellent consumer device packed with features and combined with a bug free experience that works well. Many who have complained about TouchWiz should give the phone a try, they really added great features with it and still kept it lightweight and optimized it to the point where the phone runs very smooth without lag and jerkiness you may have experienced with other android devices.
The stock keyboard isn't that great but thankfully you can download swiftkey or swype beta and get the best smartphone keyboards on the market.
-------------------------------------
PROS:
-Multitasking - Phone is built for multitasking with 2gb of ram you can load and load and load apps and never worry about slowdowns or aggressive task killers (like on the HTC One X).
Camera - takes very nice pictures (even night time pictures with the powerful flash are great).
GPS - Very good, I get near instant locks even indoors (I tested it inside of the New York New York hotel in Las Vegas with indoor google maps and was able to find bathrooms etc without asking for directions)
Media - This thing has played everything I've thrown at it (MKV, MP4, FLV) and it Sounds great and plays back 1080p video without lag.
Screen - Many have stated that the screen is dim, which is true with the default settings, but once you take auto brightness off the screen is absolutely beautiful to look at. Text is clear even though it is a pentile screen (at 720p it isn't noticeable)
Speed - There isn't anything that I've thrown at this device that has slowed it down. 1080p flash video running in the background on a full (desktop) website? Doesn't even flinch. 3d gaming? runs very smooth. The S4 processor works very well even though it's dual core vs the quad core international version.
Expandable Memory - Phone comes with a good amount of internal memory (16gb or 32gb) but the best thing about it is that it supports exFAT right out of the box which means you can put sdxc micro sd cards which currently go up to 64gb and have much higher write speeds than regular sdhc memory cards.
CONS:
Battery Life - Battery life is acceptable, the 2100mA battery lasts longer than most other android devices I have used but still isn't up there with the RAZR MAXX, which I wish more devices would emulate in terms of battery size. However, I do get a full day use out of it with moderate usage with full brightness and power saving off. At least the battery is removable/swap-able (unlike some other high end phones!)
Wifi - The wifi antenna's range could have been better (iPhone and HTC devices get much better range), I'd rate it as "Average."

If you've been thinking about which device to purchase, this is a serious contender.

ipod and laptop in one!
i have had this phone for about two weeks now and i absolutely love it. I have never had a full touch screen phone without a keyboard until i got this phone. i like all the features and apps ran on the ice cream sandwich market. all the pros on this phone is the battery life it last all day while im on the internet, twitter, facebook ect. i listen to music ALL DAY and yet the battery doesn't fail and still last. another thing is the camera it makes pictures and videos look so clear compared to my friends iphones there is really no flaws with this phone.
but if i were to say there is one it would be that i honestly dislike that there is no dictionary on this phone so it doesnt memorize words/ slang you want to use on the phone when using swype. another thing is, for some reason it doesnt read my sd memory card it always shows that theres an error with it and wont display my old pictures or music.
but in the end if i could describe this phone i would say its a mixture of an ipod combined with a laptop because its so fast and has the 16GB+ storage space of an ipod its a win win situation and since i have had this phone i barely am using my ipod and laptop too!
