Important information about new messaging rates:
Messaging in the US and Canada
On June 1, 2007, the charge to send a picture, video, or multimedia message (MMS) to a US wireless number from the US or Canada, and the charge to receive an MMS message from a US wireless number while you are in the US or Canada, will decrease from 25¢ to 15¢ per message.* The same day, the charge (a) to send a text or instant message (SMS) to a US wireless number from the US or Canada, and (b) to receive an SMS message (including a scheduled alert) from within or outside the US while you are in the US or Canada, will increase from 10¢ to 15¢ per message.* If you subscribe to a monthly messaging bundle, then each of these rate changes will apply to MMS and SMS messages in excess of your monthly allotment.** All per-message and messaging bundle charges are subject to applicable taxes.
International messaging
The charge to send an SMS message to an international number from the US or Canada remains at 15¢ per message. The charge to send an SMS message while you are roaming internationally remains at 35¢ per message. On June 1, 2007, the charge to send an MMS message to an international number from the US or Canada, and the charge to send or receive an MMS message while you are roaming internationally, will decrease from 25¢ to 15¢ per message.* The same day, the charge to receive an SMS message while you are roaming internationally will increase from 10¢ to 15¢ per message.*
Your Service Agreement, together with the latest version of T-Mobiles Terms and Conditions, including mandatory arbitration, otherwise shall remain unchanged and shall continue in full force and effect. See Sections 3 and 4 of these Terms and Conditions for additional information on your rights (including early service cancellation) as a T-Mobile customer.
* Note to customers enrolled in Take Control plans prior to May 2, 2007 and customers enrolled in kidConnect plans: Although you currently may not incur separate charges for certain incoming SMS and incoming MMS messages, and although you currently may incur different charges for international messaging from those international per-message charges set forth above and currently applicable to other T-Mobile postpaid customers, all per-message charges (i.e., outgoing and incoming, nationwide and international) described above as newly effective on June 1, 2007 will also apply to you, starting on that same date. Certain international features/services may not be available with these plans.
** International messages (sent or received) are not included in messaging bundles and always are charged separately.
