Beautiful Phone...but with several fatal flaws
I owned this phone for about 5 hours until I was forced to return it and get my money back due to a fatal design flaw. First, let me say this is a beautiful phone, feels great in your hands, very responsive with a display that will dazzle your eyes. However, all that flash hides a lack of substance.
I already knew going into this phone there were several drawbacks as compared to others like the Galaxy S3, but I was willing to live with them since T-Mobile in it's infinite wisdom has decided to discontinue all but the horrendously ugly white version of the S3. Those flaws being that there is no memory expansion capability, and that 4G/LTE will never be available for this phone. That may be enough to keep many away, but those aren't big issues for me given the way I use my phone (I rely primarily on cloud storage rather than phone storage).
What I didn't realize until I got the phone home and began putting it through it's paces is that it has SIGNIFICANT design flaws in it's Bluetooth connectivity. I tried for several hours to try and get it to discover my Bose wireless speaker to no avail. Thinking it might just be THIS particular phone, I called T-Mobile support only to find out reports of Bluetooth problems were fairly common on the Nexus forums and was referred to the Google tech support phone line.
Google tech support told me it was most likely a problem with Bose's implementation of Bluetooth. I pointed out that both my Kindle and my previous Samsung Sidekick 4G had never experienced any problems connecting to the Bose. Google was undaunted and told me it wasn't their problem and insisted on pointing to everyone but themselves despite all evidence to the contrary.
What this tells me is Google is not really ready to be a prime-time player in this market. They might have some cute little apps, but when it comes to dealing with core operating system problems, they are WAY outside of their comfort zone. If, in just a few hours, I was able to discover a CLEAR problem which they refused to take responsibility for, I can only imagine what I might run into in the next several months.
This, more than anything, would be the reason I would advocate people look elsewhere. There are several companies with MUCH better expertise in taking responsibility for, and fixing their problems than Google.

Perfect phone
I've had this phone for about a week now and am still finding new things that i love about it, it is a little large, but not so to the point that its clunky. It's very thin. Camera takes gorgeous pictures. its light the screen is bright, the it feels sturdy despite being all glass, the only downsides are calls are a little quieter than i would like.

Horrible
I am really disappointed with this phone and now I'm stuck with it. You can't send picture messages without your data on, the front camera started freezing. So many things I wish I didn't have to deal with. I am really angry with this phone. Don't get it.

Loving it!
I've had the G2x the last three years and loved it. I actually waited for the this phone and avoided all the S phones and Notes and am very pleased with the updated features. I'll admit that it takes a while to learn all the different features and functions but is well worth it. Just like any smart phone the battery life is always an issue but if you turn certain functions off such as auto sync or updates then it'll last significantly longer. One minus is no HDMI outlet which I really enjoyed with the g2x. Also, if you get the phone I suggest you get a back cover because it can scratch easy.
