LG Optimus F3
Okay as a backup phone....
When my husband and I started service all we could afford at the time was the F3. Two weeks after we had the phones, we started having problems with the phone playing music and updating apps. We have been with T-Mobile since August and I have had 4 replacement phones (same model) and my husband went through 2 replacement phones. This particular model is junk. It does what it wants and doesn't correspond 80 percent of the time. It can't handle a lot of apps, or a lot of memory. There is a 3 second delay when unplugging the phone from the charger. So we went back to Samsung (Note 3), and works amazing; no problems. All in all this phone is great when it comes to battery life and navigating your way through. But the call quality is poor and doesn't offer many features.

Good because it was very easy to figure out all of the cool stuff. This guy named Tom who worked at the store was very nice about everything.

super easy to use.
Simple to use. Customizable themes for text message backrounds.100x faster than samsung galaxy exhibit. Can change icons to all phone tools. I LOVEN this phone!

Another disappointing phone
I am upgrading from an LG Phoenix P505 from another carrier. This is the same phone, slightly updated.
I am (was?) brand loyal to LG as my last 5 LG phones have been very solidly built. This phone is lightweight and definitely needs a case to keep the back from popping off. Be careful, there are a few models of this phone, the t-mobile model is MS659.
My biggest complaint, however, is that the phone totally lacks memory. It boasts 4 GB prior to loading standard factory software, which leaves only 600 MB for applications, even with a mini-SD card. Most applications cannot be moved from internal memory to the SD chip.
I have to agree with a technical review I read that stated this phone was good for people who just want a phone. That is pretty accurate. The call quality is clear, the camera takes photos, the speakers are poor, memory is poor, web pages load, texts are sent.
This phone is probably good for the technically-challenged as the limited features reduce the learning curve for a new phone.
