Fantastic if you understand what this phone about
I am not a fan of touch screens and like to have a keyboard. This phone is fantastic if you know what it is intended for. If you are looking for a gaming device - do not get this phone. If you are all about organization, email and messaging then you will be satisfied with this phone. I only use a few apps - Facebook, Endomondo, Pandora, and QR scanner and they all work well. The Blackberry calendar and other organization tools are simply awesome and very user friendly. Do your research on Blackberry and know what you are getting with this phone. The email client on this phone is far better than my old android. My android would hang messages and say they were sent but would not actually send for hours or sometimes days. This phone and the Blackberry email system is way more efficient and sends them instantly with a confirmation icon next to the message or email telling me it was successful.
I do not use the WiFi much and can easily get two days out of a charge with moderate use. With WiFi on it will still last a full day with some charge left when I put it on the charger before bed. The form factor is great and fits well in a shirt pocket and it looks tiny compared to co-workers SIII and S4's. I do wish I could afford the new Q10 with the keyboard but my funds at this time did not allow it. Overall I am very pleased with the phone and have no regrets. My only regret is not switching to Blackberry years ago.
I purchased the black gel/smooth case from T-mobile and it fits well and does not add any bulk. With this case it will also fit in a nice leather Blackberry holster without removing the gel case. It does not interfere with the holster settings to silence your phone while it is in the case.

Stay away!
This has to be one of the worst phones I have ever had. The first one I got accumulated dust under the LCD screen in less than two days, and I had to return it. The Bluetooth connection would not work with my car, and I was told that it was an incompatibility issue with my vehicle. Then I discovered some other problems with the calendar and contacts. I cannot say much else about it because I returned it after four days and got something else.

No nonsense smart phone
I have affection for these older style Blackberry units that is based on consistent reliability and a certain streamlined utility function that is strictly no-nonsense. It’s amusing to witness 20-somethings with their noses buried in those larger screened I-entertainment centers that are all the rage and all the expense of a full-on desktop. The Blackberry Curve offers excellent enterprise and personal email function, text and phone quality that is clear as a bell. The only negative might be the short battery life, so be prepared to plug into the charger every night, and perhaps keep a charger in the car. In summary, if its apps and games you seek, then forget it, but consider saving your money from those high-end smart phones and try this reliable communications tool of yesteryear.
