    Rated 5 out of 5 by Very happy so far... Set up of the Sonic 2.0 was quick and easy! I had 2 bars signal at home with excellent speed and 4 bars at another location also very fast there too. I had to run it for two days away from home and had a lot to do so I ran through the 1GB and hit 1.08 GB but it still is showing 4G LTE connection and is very fast. The battery has only gone down to 61%. Its faster and more reliable than my home internet! It was difficult to figure out the website portion but I did get through it and it provides lots of info on usage and options for settings editing. I haven't been reduced to 2G speed yet so I can't say how that speed will be, Overall I am 99% satisfied with the device and the service. August 5, 2014
    Rated 1 out of 5 by DON'T BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES This thing is probably the worst of all the tech equipment I've had over the years--and I'm a techie. As said above, the battery life is nil, and it's been impossible to get it to work consistently. Moreover, the flimsy glass cover cracked almost immediately even though it was in my leather briefcase. It must have pressed against it's HUGE charging plug. I'm quite angry as I bought this for my 2-week family trip through Europe. I've used other mobile hotspots in South Africa and elsewhere that worked perfectly. This unit is hugely problematic and now very disruptive to necessary communication. May 15, 2014
    Rated 2 out of 5 by Unit keeps freezing up I had the same problem that I saw someone else wrote about-- The hotspot kept freezing up about every 20 minutes to 2 hours and the only way to get it going again was to take the battery out and replace it. I exchanged the device, thinking it was just a defective unit, but that didn't change anything. I then put a new sim card in it and the same thing kept happening. I'm going to exchange it for another brand. May 8, 2014
    Rated 1 out of 5 by not worth it i used in california out of the city and in arizona in the city NO SIGNAL AT ALL in and out of the city . i tried watching netflix on my phone with this device and the show kept buffering and stopping. Then I tried on my work WiFi and then tried it just working off my phone data and they both worked better than this device the show didnt buff or stop once. THIS DEVICE IS NOT WORTH BUYING.     Rated 1 out of 5 by Going back - not up to specs at all The T-Mobile Sonic 2.0 LTE mobile wifi is going back. It's supposed to have 196 standby hours, and has less than 20, even when turned off. Plus they sent the wrong SIM card. And I can't even turn it on now. I'm leaving Wednesday for Boston. March 16, 2014
    Rated 2 out of 5 by freezes up every 20 minutes or so i was using it to run streaming stock quotes on it all day long. after about 4 or 5 months, it started freezing up after about 20 minutes of use. no idea why. the only way to get it runnng again was to take the battery out and put back in again. i exchanged the unit, thinking it was defective, but the new one did the same. so i changed the SIM card, thinking it was damaged. no change. i spent hours on the phone with tech support all over the country, and no one could fix it. i finally came to the conclusion that something is wrong in their software or design or something, and exchanged it for a Samsung Pro. i would advise everyone to steer clear of this device.     Rated 2 out of 5 by Do not buy!!! Fiancé and I just moved into our new place. Wanted to do internet tv like Netflix and Hulu, but no one would service our area except t-mobile. Got this wi-fi broadband and doesn't work for anything unless your on 4G. Expected a lot more out of this thing, but truthfully not a good buy. Salesman really suckered us into it. Don't listen to THEM!!! Very hard to get good connections. Good if you only need 2G and have 1 device connected. October 13, 2013
