T-Mobile and Catherine Zeta-Jones Agree to 'Get More Advertising'


T-Mobile USA, Zeta-Jones Extend Relationship


BELLEVUE, Washington   - 06/02/2005 — T-Mobile USA, Inc., and Academy Award®-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones will extend their commercial advertising relationship, the company announced today.

T-Mobile and Zeta-Jones began their relationship in 2002, in conjunction with the launch of the T-Mobile brand in the U.S. Since then, she has appeared in numerous T-Mobile television commercials, as well as in radio and print advertisements, and online and retail campaigns.

"Catherine has been an important partner during T-Mobile's evolution into one of the fastest-growing wireless carriers in the U.S.," said Mike Butler, chief marketing officer, T-Mobile USA. "She is a terrific advocate for T-Mobile, and has provided us with a successful and sophisticated branding for our innovative products and service."

Zeta-Jones said, "T-Mobile is a forward thinking company that embraces creativity. I've enjoyed sharing in their great success."

The multi-year agreement includes continued appearances by Zeta-Jones in the company's television, broadcast and online advertising, as well as on retail collateral. Further contract details are not disclosed.
