PlayMemories Online and all the other Sony Entertainment Network features are just not to beat by any other phone manufacturer. Camera is just stunning and the Walkman software is amazing. Just in simple, This phone works perfect. And the supplied software from Sony makes it super easy to switch from the old iPhone to this unbeatable XPERIA Z1s. August 24, 2014

I like the fact that the camera works awesome., and it's a fast phone. But it does tend to freeze. I'm on my second phone. I hate the fact that I drop calls and my speaker phone does not work.     Rated 1 out of 5 by disappointed This phone started out great. Then the screen cracked while phone was in my pocket which seems impossible since it is supposed to have gorilla glass. Sony fixed it for me however it took a month to do so and i had to use a loner phone. Then a couple months later the screen cracked again while phone was in my gym bag. Unlike most phones this one iis rendered completely useless once that happens because the touch no longer works. Cant unlock or do anything with it. August 20, 2014
    Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not purchase! The design of this phone would capture people's attention only for me to quickly retort that it was the worst phone ever. It's supposed to be waterproof (however ONLY if all the ports are covered) ---and two days in to me owning this phone the port that covers the charging outlet fell off and got lost. Also the phone was incredibly buggy--constantly freezing or showing that you are getting a call but not allowing you to answer. The speaker phone was horrendous--no one could ever understand me. The volume of the device left much to be desired. After a while the camera stopped working. August 19, 2014
    Rated 1 out of 5 by Screen cracks easily rendering product useless. Hello, I have been a t-mobile customer for about 3 years. I had an excellent product as a new customer and was very satisfied. I recently financed an Xperia because of it's supposed rugged appeal. I insured it and signed on to the JUMP program. I broke my screen at work and paid the deductable, my fault, fine. Recently, my replacement phones screen had cracked while in my front pocket with no effort whatsoever, at the speedway sitting in the bleachers, watching the race. I was going to shoot a video when I realized there was a long crack, right up the middle rendering the screen completely useless. The screen has small sensors in it with wires connecting them. There are hundreds of them, so when it cracks the wires cut the circuit through the glass destroying all of your hopes. (a problem I had not had with my other product) I believe my second Xperia to be a warranty issue. August 17, 2014
    Rated 2 out of 5 by good phone but not great The good things about this phone is the long battery life the big screen and the camera sometimes and it takes a memory card. The not so great issues are the phone tends to freeze a lot, dropped calls,speaker phone is practically worthless and I can't use it at all because the screen won't come on even though the phone is on.     Refurbished phones offered by T-Mobile have been inspected and tested to ensure they’re in good working order, and they all come with a limited 90-day warranty. They also come with the same return policy as our new devices: 20 days from the date of your order.

    Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

    EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

    The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

    Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

    Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

    You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

    Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
