Rated 5 out of 5 by IPhone 5s to galaxy s4 IPhone 5s to galaxy s4. Big step for my age 71. So give it a go if you are getting bored with that same look and feel of that iPhone and have an itch to get your hands on an Android and make that decision to have a phone that you can make it your way. I am learning new things daily and enjoying all the new things I have learned and looking forward to just how much I can customize my T-Mobile galaxy s4 phone. IPhone 3g,4s, 5s. And now Samsung Galaxy S4. I am way past wondering if I was making the right move or not. I am very happy with my phone. January 19, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Better but not revolutionary I owned galaxy s2 when I decided to purchase galaxy s4. The biggest diffrence is the screen resolution ..Galaxy s4 is about 20%-30% improvement from galaxy s2. The phone is fine but coming from galaxy s2 I feel like galaxy s4 is the same phone as galaxy s2 was, with better resolution..... The market in 2013-2014 did not offer anything exciting....The phones were the same as in 2011-2012. January 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it I bought my galaxy s4 about four months ago and I love it! It is so easy to use, the features are great though they do sort of "crowd the phone because there are a lot of unessary apps. Overall the only issue I have with the phone is that the battery doesn't last very long and most of the time, when I get home, I have to charge it. January 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as great as the note 4 So I've had this phone for about a year and half and when the note 4 dropped I had to get it, but honestly the note 4 is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy 4 but one thing I miss is the size of the SG4 the note 4 is just too big for me that I'm giving my sister my phone, and getting my Samsung galaxy 4 back that's how great of a phone it is! Two things I do hate about the SG4 is the battery life and the overheating of the phone. Other than that its a great phone and I would recommend it to everyone. Also, I wouldn't recommend certified pre owned phones they always come with issues so don't blame the phone, but the previous owner. You guys must purchase this phone you'll love it like I do and miss it ❤ December 21, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I bought this phone around the same time the GS5 came out I opted for the 4 cause 5 was almost the same only more expensive. Ot is a cool phone compared to the Moto photon I had but my moto was better. The speaker busted a month after I got it. So sounds is bad now when playing loud. It gets really hot even when iddle up to 111° it burn me two times when having a conversation on the phone 10 mins into tje call. Battery life is very poor. It wolud go down to about 40% in about 3 hours onstand by, with all bells and whistles off. Tech support said it was because of 3rd party apps, which is not the answer I was expecting. I used exactly the same apps I used with the Motorola minus 3 i not longer use and never had this problem. One more thing LTE would never work, it connects but drops it in about 5 minutes. I think this could be a network problem. I guess motorola phones are better. It looks cool, thin profile, good grip, nice pics but just not worth it. I was disappointed 5 short months after I got my new shiny phone. I hope to get me a new one soon just not sure which one : ( December 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Prefer way over S3 and even S5 actually Samsung S4 holds up to its name while also its competitors as well. I say this because S4 is far better then S3 as to Camera Quality, MP3, Videos, and extra features. I found through research that the S5 has already went down hill because of a few recalls, this includes the S5 Camera and its data connectivity. So this being said, the S4 Has been out over a year now yet has only had minor issues and for the most part, IN NEWER DEVICES AFTER OCTOBER 2014, the S4 is found to be almost flawless. The battery may not hold up to its contender in the S5 but it still last plenty long enough to get through at least half the day. If you keep power around or a spare battery, such an issue(if any) IS FIXED :-) Take my word for it, the S4 IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!! GREAT WORK!! December 3, 2014

To upgrade early, you’ll need to pay off your entire Equipment Installment Plan. You can do this by calling Customer Care or visiting a T-Mobile retail store.

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

When your new phone arrives simply follow the manufacturer’s set-up procedure and start using it. If you purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card to use in your own device, you will need to insert the new card and then you are good to go.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

To find out if you’re eligible for a rebate or a promotion all you need to do is answer a few simple questions.

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
