Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 443 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Note 4 is Practical and Adaptable T-Mobile is an amazing carrier, and the Note 4 is probably the best phone I've ever had since the blackberry curve! It's big screen allows you to enjoy videos, and it's good processor allows you to run several applications at one without slowing down. Whereas I would always upgrade my phone, because the one I had wasn't good enough, I now am hesitant to switch out of this device. It's battery life is amazing, unless you are using Snap Chat, and the call quality is great. It is an expensive phone, but it is definitely worth the price, considering you wont need to buy another one for a long time. February 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Phablet on the Market right now I read reviews and researched phones for a week before choosing the Note 4 and I can not picture a better phone. Expandable memory (where other have none), I spent very little to add another 64 gigs. Removable battery (again where many now do not), incredible battery life, you can easily go a few days without charging, great software included, excellent camera (I own a Nikon D750 so i did not expect to be at all impressed with a camera on a phone but this little camera is excellent for what it does) the BEST Amoled display out there. Go into any store and compare the screens on this to any LCD display and this wins hands down. the Amoled is incredible, big, but not too big with adjustable brightness and it gets bright ! another good point, because this phone is now older, it is a lot less expensive and so are it's accessories. the Samsung S view cover made for this phone can be had for a fraction of it's original cost. It isn't even worth it to buy the Note 5 when this has the space for more storage and the removable battery at a cheaper price. the Pen is another great feature with amazing sensitivity and the ability to imitate pen, pencil and all sorts of writing instruments. Amazing phone that still deserves all the praise heaped on it from when it first came out. Unless you need to brag about having the latest incarnation of a smartphone, this is the BEST deal out there. one last thing, my phone, purchased new here in January 2016 came with Android 5.1 installed, not the older 4 as stated. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great phone, great battery life. Coming from a 3 year old S3, this phone is a huge improvement. The screen color/quality is amazing, it's fast, and the camera is one of the best. Really like all the extras included with this phone: There's the health monitor that takes your pulse and oxygen level, the pedometer that counts your steps, the IR blaster so you can use it as a TV remote, and finally the pen which is great for taking notes and drawing. Plus, unlike the Note 5, this phone still has the SD slot (I added an inexpensive 64GB Micro SD card for a total of 96GB, and a user replaceable battery. As for the battery, I'm getting around 3x the life I was getting with my old S3. I charge it over night, and even with heavy all day usage, it still has 40% when I leave work. I even have the health monitor running to counting my steps, the GPS turned on, and haven't manually tweaked any of the settings to improve the battery life. With my S3, I had every extra like GPS) turned off and it still couldn't make it through the day with light usage. January 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid build Matched up my phone with a Tech21 case and screen protector this afternoon. Setup was overall easy and straighr forward with some of the usul blote ware to take care of which isn't as bad with T-Mobile as with a few of the other carriers. As for size with case it still fits my pocket which is why I went with Tech21. January 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great phone The phone has great display, fast charging, awesome s pen great camera and secure with fingerprint. January 19, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by 3rd replace phone My original phone was working fine until around the 10-11 month mark. I had to replace my phone twice. This is my 3rd replace phone is less than a month. I was able to make outgoing calls and during the call usually around the one minute mark, I couldn't hear the caller on the other end but they could hear me. The phone other 2 phones would had the same issue. I had to place my original phone because the phone would randomly start over, and kept restarting itself until the little android man came up. The replacement I have now, has some problems. It will give a battery low warning at 15% and then will completely shut off, and when I place it on the charger it says the battery is at 0%. Samsung disappointed me with this product. January 8, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I chose this phone over the note 5 because this has a removable battery and an SD card the note 5 does not . January 1, 2016

To upgrade early, you’ll need to pay off your entire Equipment Installment Plan. You can do this by calling Customer Care or visiting a T-Mobile retail store.

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

When your new phone arrives simply follow the manufacturer’s set-up procedure and start using it. If you purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card to use in your own device, you will need to insert the new card and then you are good to go.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

To find out if you’re eligible for a rebate or a promotion all you need to do is answer a few simple questions.

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

Learn more about Premium Handset Protection

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
