Rated 1 out of 5 by Buggy I bought this phone with my JUMP! upgrade back in March. It was a great phone to start with.I love the large screen and the true home button rather than a touch button. The battery life was great in the beginning, but now even when i leave it in my car not being used while I am at work, by the end of the day (3pm or so) I only have about 20% battery left with little to no use. Once the new Android OS came out, I of course upgraded. Big mistake. DO NOT UPGRADE! The Samsung Keyboard constantly crashes and you're left with the unresponsive keyboard still on your screen and you have to hit the home button and turn off the screen for a good 30 seconds for it to reset. Constant lagging when typing as well. There are many occasions where you type something, and your phone wont respond for a few seconds and then it will throw everything out there all at once. The back camera has also not been working properly for months. I have done research showing that it is a common issue. It refuses to focus. I have to spend at least 5 minutes forcing it to refocus, before it will actually clear up. I have tried all the little tips and tricks. There are zero scratches on my camera for it to focus on and I make sure to keep it dust clean when I am to use it. Recently though, things have gotten much worse. I was watching a video and charging my phone. In the middle of the video, my screen went black and the red charging indicator light turn off. I pressed the lock button, and heard the lock noise, telling me it was still working. 5 seconds later, the red light returned and I could turn my phone on again. This time only to find that the drop down menu on top had disappeared. I opened an app, then closed it and the menu returned, but that should still never happen. Today I was on Amazon looking at reviews of products when my screen fritzed out again. I was able to screen shot what my screen looked like (see photo). This phone is not old. 8 months at most. ZERO water damage, never cracked the screen. There is no reason for it to ever be acting up. In my honest opinion this phone is great to start, but it is not a long term phone to keep. Rated 5 out of 5 by great phone note 4 this is a great phone...and i would say just as good as the new iphones.....and cost a lot less.....i don,t like the note 5, only black and white , samung makes me angry that silver or god is not available...allmost transfered to apple because of this September 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Phone out there! I love my Note 4. It is such a 'Smart' phone. It is a power house with 4 gb of ram and the camera is simply the best out there. This phone is near perfect. I love the looks of the Note 5 but I am sticking to my Note 4 because of the smart cover and expandable memory slot. That is what I love about the Galaxy phones. Rated 2 out of 5 by I loved this phone but........ I continued to have problems with this device. I had to exchange it 4 times for different issues, from dropped calls, to the other person being able to hear me, but me not being able to hear them, and dial tone sounds during calls, it's a little buggy/glitchy at times and even called my place of work a few times. It takes nice pictures and has a beautiful display and has most of the features I have come to enjoy, but the call quality is very bad and the speakers being on the back sometimes makes it harder to hear videos or phone calls. I had to send/take them all back and now I am searching for a quality phone that is worth my hard earned money that does what it's suppose to do and does it well, too bad it couldnt be the NOTE 4. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Camera, Poor Speakerphone Quality Overal this is a good phone, I love the fact that it still has a removable battery and the option to use an SD card. The phone takes beautiful pictures and is quite fast. What I don't like so much is the less than average quality on the speaker phone and the weight. September 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this product! I love this phone! I do everything on it. I don't even use my personal computer. I even have all our my passwords for work saved on it. Best phone I've ever had! Super happy user! September 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Galaxy Note 4 Over all I love this phone, it has great camera and a lot of cool features plus a beautiful HD screen makes watching videos amazing. My only major complaint is the speakers tiny September 28, 2015

To upgrade early, you’ll need to pay off your entire Equipment Installment Plan. You can do this by calling Customer Care or visiting a T-Mobile retail store.

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

When your new phone arrives simply follow the manufacturer’s set-up procedure and start using it. If you purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card to use in your own device, you will need to insert the new card and then you are good to go.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

To find out if you’re eligible for a rebate or a promotion all you need to do is answer a few simple questions.

    Get started

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

Learn more about Premium Handset Protection

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
