Rated 4 out of 5 by This phone is great, but...... I really do like this phone, however there are a couple flaws I hope that the V20 will not have. The!! Not that its not a long lasting battery, its when it gets under 10%, problems happen. Actually, when mine gets to 8%, if I dont put it on the dies. The frustrating part is, when its on the charger it says it has a higher percentage!! Thats the biggest downfall for me. Other than that, it freezes sometimes when Im in my Messaging app, but thats it as far as the flaws. Im crossing my fingers these will be improved with the new one coming out soon!! October 16, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by A decent buy at current price Now that this phone is cheaper it's flaws may be easier to accept for buyers. The camera and performance are top notch but I have experienced a lot of bugs as have others, I've had the phone freeze and require battery removal. I've had the messaging app freeze many times. As everyone has noted the battery life is pathetic and it requires constant charging if you use the phone even moderately. I recently did a factory reset because the phone had been lagging and freezing up so frequently and that seemed to work, for now at least. Let's hope they address some of these problems with the V20 if they are serious about trying to capture marketshare. If this phone was more reliable, had a better speaker and had a decent battery it would be a no brainer to recommend. October 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 Year No trouble I've read a lot of bad reviews on this phone but I've never had an issue with my LG V10 at all. October 10, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Loved it until... I really loved the LG V10 - nice clean lines, easy in the hand, good software and Android. Coming from the Note line of phones I was looking for a change, (note4 edge had a lot of issues) and keeping my external memory and battery. I thought this was the phone. I enjoyed it for about 9 months until it started going through batteries like a reaper (drained battery twice a day with moderate use). I went as far as resetting the phone and not loading any apps other than FB and Instagram... same problem for 2 months. Throughout my ownership the phone would also reboot randomly and the text messaging app would lag horribly. Well.. yesterday I got the infamous "boot loop". Phone is being replaced under warranty, and when I get it back it is being sold so I can go with another phone that is more reliable. This is a known problem with the phone and LG has done nothing to solve it. Do yourself a favor and stay away. October 3, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good phone until.... This is a great phone while it's working. I had the v10 for a little under a year before the battery started to get really hot. Then one day it got stuck in a "boot loop". My phone has been at LG waiting on a repair for over a week. I tried to do a warranty replacement, but T-mobile wouldn't take it because of a tiny crack on the screen so I had to send it to LG directly. I've now been without a phone for a month and still getting charged for my bill even though I haven't had any usage on my line. This is a known issue with this phone. Beware. October 2, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible phone! Before owning this phone, I've had two Samsung devices (a media player and an SIII). This phone not only blows both of those out of the water in terms of speed, durability, and pretty much every other feature, it also is pretty competitive with the S7 on speed and camera quality for a fraction of the cost. I have no idea why folks have underhyped this phone, because it is fantastic and well worth the price. The reinforced sides and rubberized back make this phone feel incredibly secure and durable, and so far it's lasted through several drops with no ill effects whatsoever. The battery does get warm when the phone is being used for battery-heavy processes, such as for playing Pokemon Go, but it quickly cools down when the programs are closed, and if the battery life suffers, this is one of the few phones that still lets you replace the battery! The camera is second to none -- both the selfie cam and the front-facing camera take great pictures, and everyone who looks at them remarks how clear, crisp, and professional they look, even on auto mode. Pages and apps load lickety-split fast, especially on 4G. Wi-fi calling I've found is a little buggy, so I generally just leave it off; I'm betting it's Comcast's fault, honestly. Other good stuff? The second screen is great, every app runs beautifully, I barely ever need to restart it or turn it off, and I've never had issues with the SD card reader or the charge port. I will say that the keyboard takes some getting used to, but that's true for pretty much every phone. The weight is probably the biggest obstacle -- it took me a while to build up enough hand strength to hold the phone for long periods of time, and I still have to use the mini keyboard when texting one-handed. That's a phablet for you, though -- the display is great and I love the size of it, so I'm willing to overlook that. I genuinely think this is one of the best phones on the market at the moment. Six months in and the thought of actually using my next jump has no appeal whatsoever. If you care about having a reliable, sturdy phone that takes great pictures, blows through processor benchmarks without breaking a sweat, and offers you endless options for customizing your hardware and software alike, definitely give the V10 a long appreciative look. Rated 1 out of 5 by Had to return the phone for Warranty repair Phone over heats around the camera area. Battery goes from 100% battery life to about 50% in about 1 hour if you turn on location and WiFi options. Phone tends to stall when it gets hot. It's a shame that I needed to return the phone. I have big hands and like the larger display to type . What else is there to say. It didn't last me a year. September 20, 2016

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on device becomes due.

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on device becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.

Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) is a public safety system that enables authorized agencies to send text-like messages to consumers with capable wireless devices to alert them of emergencies in their area. Learn more about WEA and whether your device is capable of receiving alerts.
