The reason I am writing another one is because I bought my wife one and I had a problem with both phones that I found a solution that fixed it and I thought this might be helpful to someone else. When I got these phones I started setting them up and afterwards I could not connect to my wi-fi. On both phones I went into the settings and changed them back to the factory settings and started over with the set up. On the second time, they both connected to the wi-fi. I just thought it might help someone since I had to do it on both. October 18, 2014
    Rated 4 out of 5 by Best phone I've had yet! I upgraded to this phone from an Optimus f3, and most of my motivation was "bigger is better". I like the size and quality of the screen, although sometimes it seems like it doesn't register my touches properly. Four gigs of usable storage is probably more than I'll ever need for apps, but don't be afraid to drop in a 64-gig SD card for your movies/music needs. I like the infrared universal remote control setup, and I think sellers would do well to advertise this feature more openly. The camera is good enough for me, and the battery life is great! Sometimes it seems like it ought to run a little faster, but it's far from inadequate. Overall, I'm happy with this phone, and for the price, it can't be beat! October 16, 2014
    Rated 4 out of 5 by From iOS to Android I had an iPhone 4s for about two years before I upgraded to the LG L90. I had the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G prior to my iPhone and wasn't too happy with Android back then (was extremely buggy and lagged). But I have to say I am very satisfied with my LG L90. I've had it since the beginning of September and it's still snappy! I just wanted to write a review because there seems to be a lot of negativity towards this device. I'll start with the pros. It's an attractive device. It's pretty standard, but no one would automatically guess it's mid-tier from first glance. It's definitely not bulky, but not the slimmest either. The 4.7" qHD screen is a good size if you're still keen to one hand usage but is good enough for playing games or watching a quick video. It's not the sharpest and you cannot tell unless you compare it side to side with a flagship but it definitely looks good otherwise. The back cover is pretty! Except it's "self-healing" properties makes its feel quite plastic. The device itself loads up very fast. It loads up faster than my friend's S4 and you can disable some of the bloatware if you don't think it's snappy enough. I downloaded a simple launcher app and the interface looks very clean now so I'm happy with that as well. Android is really ahead in terms of customization. In regards to space, just pop in a micro SD and you're good to go. I love the Knock On feature! Makes it very easy to look at the time in a pinch while in class. Also since it is an Android device, if you're an avid Google user (like Gmail, calendar, maps), it's very easy to integrate your account into your phone. Like setting up daily reminders straight from your Google Calendar is incredibly easy. Neat feature I think most would enjoy if you're constantly out and about. Call quality and signal is great. I live near a metropolitan city and have never lost signal near my home, but when traveling I do tend to hit some dead zones in more rural areas which is to be expected. Call quality is loads better than my iPhone, as is speakerphone in terms of volume. Texting is quite easy as well as I forgot how useful Swype was. I would use another app to replace the stock though... Another pro is the battery life absolutely rules. I can go a whole day with constant usage and come back home at 30%. Not having to worry about if I have my charger or not is great! There aren't many cons but my most definite gripe with the phone is camera quality. The camera will only take good pictures with a decent amount of light. It's 5MP which can still look good and clear, but the sensor is just totally off on the stock app. I would recommend trying out some camera apps to replace the stock. The back is quite slippery so I also recommend keeping it in a case to avoid any accidents. Overall, great device at an even nicer price. I would definitely pick it up if you're trying to find an Android device on a budget! October 15, 2014

I instantly fell in love with the phone. It looks very attractive with nice curves. I love the knock on feature as it awakens my phone quick. The face detect unlock works under good lighting. Its an extremely fast phones and I am able to play games without any lag. Keyboard is a little buggy. Sometimes it's hard to type.     Rated 5 out of 5 by Geezers - No land line, relying on these 1st time data phone users. Takes some getting used to navigating all the many features, touch screen very sensitive. But after 3 wks, we're having fun with them. Been able to solve any questions by reading the booklet, asking other Droid users or looking online. We live in low connectivity area, so at home, have same 2 bars we had when using regular cell phones. But no dropped calls here or anywhere else so far. Call volume is excellent. Occasionally we get interference but resolves by turning off speaker, or lowering volume. Very happy with them & learning to have fun with them. We charge them every night, to be sure, and by evening they're usually at 65 or 73% by end of day. Because of the area where we live, they may use more power than some people's. We bought protective cases, now getting screen protectors & car chargers online. We really like these phones, maybe even love them (don't want to gush). We came late to the smart phone scene, got these during summer sale, and we're happy campers. October 14, 2014

    Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

    EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

    The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

    Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

    Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

    You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

    Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
