Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 254 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by very good phone I upgraded to this phone from the lg Leon and I do not regret it. excellent battery life. It has a very long stand by time and it also very talk time. It is better then the LG Leon. I am just waiting for android 6.0 marshmallow. I also like the laser accuracy camera. February 2, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by great phone just upgraded to the g4.very pleased with it.it's exactly what i was looking for.camera, processor expandable keyboard and everything else works very well.battery drains alittle i'm hoping the 6.0 update will improve battery life.also the price was right January 29, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good phone which takes some getting used to. I decided to get a LG G4 from a Samsung GS3. This phone does take some getting used too. Coming from a Samsung interface to an LG, there are certain things that are done differently (like navigating on internet). But it's not hard to learn. The camera is the same exact specifications as the LG V10. I actually wanted to get that . But for what I was looking for, this would meet my needs. Plus, I notice the camera has good crisp pictures that the GS3 could not compare. With the Quad HD, battery life is average. In order to work around this, you really have to turn the brightness to 0% and also use a battery extender app. Calls are actually very crisp. You can hear calls very well. This phone is loaded with bloatware. However, the trade off is, the apps do serve specific functions which eliminate the need to get them (app to check for your data usage, preloaded virus scanner) Conclusion: This phone is a very competitive one which the technology will make it durable for many years. If you need a phone now, you really should look at this. January 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by AWESOME!!! Best phone ever, Haven't had any problems with it at all. I love everything about it!!! January 27, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Flagship This phone amazes me. I wanted to get the S6 or the Note but this beats them by far and with a cheaper price January 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Screen goes black when making calls. Wife's is 3 weeks old, and works fine. She love it. As for mine, it's a week newer, and I got one that shuts down completely when making or receiving calls (glass screen saver issue) Never had this problem with Samsung, and several LG G3/G4 owners have phones with glass savers that are working fine. untill I get a good one, can't give it thumbs up. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent phone! Exceptional camera I have had the G4 for about 3 months now. I upgraded from the G3 only because I got a great deal during Thanksgiving. It is my personal opinion that this is the best phone on the market. The build quality, styling, the call quality, the display, the camera and the processor/memory are exceptional. I love the fact that LG did not dump any bloatware in the phone and I love the fact that the entire gamut of Lollipop features are available to the user. And the brown leather back is to die for. In the last 3 months, I have never had a dropped call or any sort of noise or interference on any of my calls. People complaining about the phone heating up are nuts. if you get a phone and use it as a gaming device, anything is going to heat up. If you take a laptop type processor and put it along with 3GB RAM and QHD display and put it into a small frame like a phone which does not have a fan to disperse the heat of course the device will get hot. I mean a computer gets hot with a fan, why won't a phone get hot. Anyways, i am a power user, the productivity apps on the phone are really good. The speaker volume level is good, but it can be louder. If you really want to experience the quality of this phone, watch the Star wars 4K trailer on it. The Galaxy S6 or the IPhone does not even come close. I am not going to change this phone for sometime, that is for sure. The smaller aperture size compared to G3 has really helped a lot in terms of the picture quality. Day or Night, pictures are exceptional. Battery Life is decent, lasts me a whole day. It is expected to lose battery quickly as it has to feed a screen that's like a hungry elephant. I highly recommend this phone to anyone. January 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent upgrade from LG G2 All the features are great and the future updates seem to be promising. I don't mind so much that the G4 doesn't have a fingerprint reader. I was between the G4 and the V10, but the price-point of the G4 was more in line to my budget and the added features the V10 had weren't necessary for me to have. I like that it has band 12 for when my area gets Extended Range LTE, and I hope that with the upcoming 6.0 update that T-Mobile will implement Video Calling and Advanced Messaging. I use this G4 with a Cellspot Router and they pair up great for WiFi Calling. I also like that this processor runs cooler than the SD 810 cpu. I haven't seen a single hiccup or laggy instance yet. Speaker is LOUD and battery life is on par to the 30 hours I used to get on the G2. Screen is amazing and camera is spot on with optical image stabilization. Good to see a front camera with better than 2MP quality. Calls are clear on VoLTE. Included preloaded apps are useful and very little bloatware compared to other carriers. It isn't too difficult to one hand text, but with a case on it, it is a 2 hand deal. LG didn't put too much of their own spin on this phone considering what other manufacturers do to the base Android design. No issues with WiFi or settings that go 'wonky." Getting a removable battery and SD card support is great. Screen touches are responsive and overall this is a great upgrade to the previous G2 and G3. January 14, 2016

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

When your new phone arrives simply follow the manufacturer’s set-up procedure and start using it. If you purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card to use in your own device, you will need to insert the new card and then you are good to go.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

To find out if you’re eligible for a rebate or a promotion all you need to do is answer a few simple questions.

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on T-Mobile.com, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

Learn more about Premium Handset Protection

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
