Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Phone I Have Owned To Date I am coming from the S3 which in it's day was a great phone. Obviously it's been a while, I try to get the most out of a phone before upgrading. I did lots of research like many of you and decided on LG over S5 and M8 because I like the look, features, size and replaceable battery was a big deal for me. I have put the phone through quite a few paces and overall the performance and features are excellent. For me the best phone I have owned and surely one of the best of all current models. I don't think you'd go wrong with M8 or S5 but if you're leaning toward the G3 you won't be disappointed. Lastly, battery life is excellent, call quality is much better than the S3, screen rocks (!) as does the speed. July 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Phone! This is my first time owning any of the LG products that have the volume and power button on the back. It was VERY easy to get used to the placement. Coming from the Samsung Galaxy S4, I must say that this is a pleasure to use. The 5.5" display is vibrant though it is probably a little too vibrant because sometimes the shadow on text in the notification drop down and some apps (with a darker background) come out to be a little odd but with a Quad-HD vibrant screen, I feel that is normal. I am a little upset that Qi Wireless Charging is not available right out of the box but the case I have doesn't work with it so I can get over that. Overall, this device is worth the money. It has a lost of customization and is fantastic! Especially the battery life! July 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Product! I went from a Galaxy S3 to this beautiful work of art! I thought that It'd be hard for me to go to this phone because of the buttons being in the back.. but honestly it's easier! Amazing phone, if you're looking to buy a new phone, BUY THIS ! You won't regret it! July 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Probably the best phone of 2014 yet! The LG G3 has the best looking screen than any phone as of right now (7/11/2014). Unfortunately it's high resolution has no use due to applications not taking advantage of this and we probably won't see apps that are 2.5k res till next year.. when the G4 is most likely out. So If you have time to wait a year I say wait to buy the G4 if not and you need a good phone that does all and more then this is the way to go. It's 3GB RAM and less likely to slow down after months of use unlike the LG G2/S4/S5. This phone is comparable to the HTC One M8's speed but I would say the LG G3 is much better. I love the LG Health feature on this and how it measures every step you take and I love that it's free. There are so many intuitive features on this phone that you can't get in others. Most of the features are features you'll use once in awhile but most likely not use day to day basis. The features are very helpful and diminishes phones that have limited features. FEATURE HEAVY PHONE! this is a must buy for phone junkies but if you want a better phone I say wait a year for G4 because it'll be much better (obviously) July 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Perfect Smartphone This phone has everything you would need in a phone and more. July 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Its reach exceeds its grasp, but still excellent. This phone is great for people who use their phone for business, but not so great for mobile gamers. Because LG utilizes a QuadHD (QHD) panel at 2560 x 1440, this hampers gaming significantly, as this phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 System-on-Chip (SOC), running 4 Krait 400 cores at 2.5 gHz and Adreno 330 GPU at 578 mHz. This is where the phone bogs down significantly. LG should probably have delayed the G3 until the Snapdragon 805 was released so it could be paired with the Adreno 420 GPU. I suspect in a year's time, the LG G4 will use Snapdragon 805 or Snapdragon 810, either of which will be more than capable of driving a 2560 x 1440 display. The display's color reproduction suffers greatly due to LG's aggressive saturation compression. What this means for an end-user is that editing photos on the phone itself will be impossible; the results will look different on any other display, such as your friend's computer monitor, or your Mom's laptop or your Dad's tablet. If you're a fan of "vivid" color, you'll like it, but you like to use your phone for photography, stick to capturing the photos with the phone and editing them on your computer. Battery life suffers compared to the LG G2, with a 20-21% reduction in overall power, primarily from the strain of the display. Going from a 1920 x 1080 display to a 2560 x 1440 display really saps additional battery power from the device, although you can easily use it for around 8 to 9 hours between charges. The real stunner on this phone though, is its camera and the camera's low-light performance. This phone takes amazing nighttime shots, outpacing the G2's white balance and color reproduction by far, and it absolutely blows away the Samsung Galaxy S5's camera, and is easily comparable to the iPhone 5S's camera. LG's Android modifications make the phone a bit easier to use out of the box, although I'd like to see a version with CyanogenMod 11 available. July 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the best. The phone has it all. The best LG has ever made. Great build quality, call quality and dynamic screen. Best camera on a cellphone as well. July 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by If you liked the G2, you'll like the G3 It does have a great, crisp screen, however it's hard for the human eye to even tell, unless side by side with another phone. I wish it had a fingerprint scanner. I was surprised to see it was cheaper then the GS5. I like the new Android skin better then the one on the G2. 3GB of memory is a big pro. July 5, 2014

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

When your new phone arrives simply follow the manufacturer’s set-up procedure and start using it. If you purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card to use in your own device, you will need to insert the new card and then you are good to go.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

To find out if you’re eligible for a rebate or a promotion all you need to do is answer a few simple questions.

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on T-Mobile.com, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Refurbished phones offered by T-Mobile have been inspected and tested to ensure they’re in good working order, and they all come with a limited 90-day warranty. They also come with the same return policy as our new devices: 20 days from the date of your order.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
