Rated 5 out of 5 by I had the Galaxy S5, It was hard waiting till I could turn that in for this phone. Wasn't sure if the screen would be as bright, but with a light Wall Paper back ground and at Full Brightness, I can see it in the sunlight better than the Galaxy S5. I haven't gotten any Microsoft Exchange issues, messages coming over quickly. My LG headset works well. Battery for the head set shows up on the phone. Battery life, give it time, Try "Clean master", "no Ads" that seems to be helping. I'm impressed with this phone. Some Apps won't load, they aren't compatible, Oh Well. I like the 30% battery saver button. Haven't had to use it! I do have a charger I carry with me to work, just because I'm using the phone so much. Photos - Great. It allows me to set up folders for grouping of photos in certain events. So now I can have events in their own folder, prior to downloading to my computer. I need to practice on using the camera. This phone also gives you helpful suggestions on how to use the feature. Suggest you look at them. You can use your hand to do a selfy, to activate the phone. Also you can say a word like cheese and the phone will take a photo, so no pressing a button. The phone has other words it will understand also. See the hints... Now just working on finding a small cover that feels as great as this phone. Without adding bulk to it. Texting trying LG's I also have swift key, so seeing which I like better. It didn't take long to get use to the buttons on the back. I rarely us the back power button. I'm glad its there though. Web browsing, trying several. LGs, CM, Chrome Speaker phone is okay. There are better out there, but I rarely use that. Maybe in a future phone they will have the speakers in front like HTC. September 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite phone EVER. Hands down this is the best android device I've ever had. That's saying a lot! I upgraded to the G3 from the G2. I've been an android users since the first android phone hit the market! There's so many features. The knock code unlock feature is really nice. The buttons on the back are even better to use than the G2. The camera is amazing quality and very fast to snap pics when you need to. The battery life works for me all day. I'm a moderate/heavy user. I take it off the charger at 6:30ish every morning and when I go to bed around 10pm or so it has 20-30% left still. I'm extremely happy with this phone. The size is also great. It's big but not so big that it's weird in my pocket or hard to use. I love it. September 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Completely in love I love this phone! Perfect size, great camera quality, easy to navigate. I just wish T-Mobile would've had the moon violet (purple - my fave color) color option at the time I purchased. I couldn't wait any longer though so I went with white. September 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by not all its cracked up to be. I got this phone because everyone made it seem like it was the best phone ever. When i got it, i loved it. Then 2 months later the battery doesnt last. I charge 2 or 3 times a day. The phone turns off on me at random times. It has cool features and is neat but i am going to be going back to an iphone. Rated 1 out of 5 by Get a Battery for this !! Okay so I fell in love with this phones features - but the battery is AWFUL!! I went from the Note 3 and this phone barely lasts me 5-6 hrs using it's features. I loved the G2 - was awesome if this one had a decent battery I would still have it. Don't buy this phone until they fix the battery - it's awful September 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Phone We just moved to T-Mobile from a different carrier and noticed a definite drop in call quality and network coverage. There is no problem with the phone that I can tell, just the network. The screen is amazing and everything I do on this phone runs smoothly. The only issue I have is the power adapter that came with the phone. Why would any company make an AC wall adapter that sticks out 3 inches from the wall? It is ridiculous how far out the adapter stands from the wall. It's even worse when you plug in the USB cable. Poor design. It will likely be broken soon because I have to use it in a power outlet that is out in the open. I can't plug it in in a sheltered area because of its size. September 8, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bah, humbug! Not impressed... I bought and returned this phone after 4 days. Massive memory usage, buggy LG software, auto-dims the screen far too low, awful button placement and it's always feeling like it's about to fall out of your hand due to the slippery plastics, curved back, and tiny bezel. I've owned a Note 2 and Note 3 and neither of them ever felt like they are about to fall out of my hands. To each his own, I guess.. Not what I expected from a flagship phone so I went back to my aging LG Nexus 5 which was still faster, more responsive, and I can grip perfectly. September 7, 2014

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

When your new phone arrives simply follow the manufacturer’s set-up procedure and start using it. If you purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card to use in your own device, you will need to insert the new card and then you are good to go.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

To find out if you’re eligible for a rebate or a promotion all you need to do is answer a few simple questions.

    Get started

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Refurbished phones offered by T-Mobile have been inspected and tested to ensure they’re in good working order, and they all come with a limited 90-day warranty. They also come with the same return policy as our new devices: 20 days from the date of your order.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
