    Rated 5 out of 5 by Rated Excellent 5 Stars In the Top 5 sSmartphones Well I purchased 1 for myself, I am a phone geek been into open unlocked phones for over 15 years when T mobile was Aerial then Voice Stream , I had the Sony Z ,Z1, Z1 ultra 6.5 Phablet , Samsung Galaxy 2,3,4 and 5 the 5, and list goes on and realistically found the LG G2 to be more advanced, excellent in every aspect with many options ever seen in other rated in the top category, the back buttons are no problem you can add a widget thats built in with options for volume ,off, restart... no buttons around ,just tap twice to unlock screen, and face recognition for added security if swiping is not as safe for you, included for free basic phone tracking from your computer works like a charm, my phone slipped out my pocket into a friend sofa, behind not visible, when I got home ,I tracked down call my friend got it back This phone only weighs a few ounces ,built in 32 GB, Gorilla 2 glass, comes ,remote control for everything in your house thats right everything a new feature on the note and galaxy 5 the note pad send messages could even use your fingers for writing. And it even got better 2 days after it updated to Kit-Kat it got even better T-mobile is on it and they guarantee it . So my daughter fell in love with it tired of the same I phone, which is not as good she did an a, b test so I bought her one also, and she is in love , fascinated. and last ,the battery is great, the Samsung have never been unless you get an Anker battery and manage what you use when needed, yes I recommend this phone it is so advanced and compact in other words unbelievably Outstanding.     Rated 5 out of 5 by The phone is amazing...and unbelievably FAST! Best phone I've owned. It's seems as fast and as capable as my computer (and I'm a PC gamer), and I like the 5 GHz Wifi band. Great features, and I like the fact that it's a bit less costly than most others of comparable specs (aside from the Nexus 5, which has a worse battery and camera). The only thing I wish it had was a slightly smaller screen/body, since it's tough doing everything with one hand...but that's the way the industry has gone (aside from "Mini" phones which are often less powerful, or an iPhone). But you really can't go wrong with this phone...you'll like it a lot. I'm surprised it doesn't have a bigger audience! April 13, 2014

Just tell us the make, model and condition of your old phone and we’ll give you a quote for your trade-in value. If you like the offer we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label and you can send us your old phone along with the receipt from your new one. Within 3 billing cycles, you’ll receive a credit to your account for the amount of the trade‐in value.

    To upgrade early, you’ll need to pay off your entire Equipment Installment Plan. You can do this by calling Customer Care or visiting a T-Mobile retail store.

    Refurbished phones offered by T-Mobile have been inspected and tested to ensure they’re in good working order, and they all come with a limited 90-day warranty. They also come with the same return policy as our new devices: 20 days from the date of your order; 30 days in California.

    Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

    EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

    The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

    Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

    Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

    You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

    Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
