Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the Best Phone EVER! This is a gorgeous sexy grown up phone that is simply the best phone out right now hands down! I had the HTC One and was very happy with that, but HTC has found a way to step it up a FEW notches with the M8. It's fast, no lag at all, a gorgeous display, battery life is wonderful, takes great photos, the speakers are amazing!!, and the screen size is bigger than the HTC One; however, it's not too big. It's just large enough. My ONLY negative is that my LED light is not working, but that is clearly a very MINOR glitch that hopfully HTC will take care of soon. If you want the best phone out there...you found it! GET IT! April 16, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Just WOW... This phone is crazy, its by far the fastest Android phone I've had. Absolutely zero lag! I've never really paid much attention to HTC before but i'm glad i took a chance with this over the Galaxy S5, not to say the S5 isn't great cause it is but i feel i found the right device that fits my needs and wants in a phone. The build quality is unmatched, its just solid and looks gorgeous. I know a lot of people think about the 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera and think the photos must look terrible and let me just say you have to try it before you dismiss it. If you know basic photography you can get just as good a photo with this camera as you can with any of the high end shooters on the smartphone market. Battery life has been great and the screen is amazing for media and browsing. Boom sound is one of the most brilliant and no brainer features that makes giving this phone a try worth it all by itself trust me. To end this fast let me just say I can't find a problem with this phone, not one. April 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easily the best smartphone on the market As an IT tech, I'm always struggling to stay ahead of the technology curve, looking for the newest, fastest, coolest products out there. When I saw the Galaxy 5s announced in Feb, I was kind of let down. As an S3 user, I didn't really see the point in upgrading my phone for what was essentially a better camera. The Xperia Z2 didnt have an official US release date, so I didnt pay much attention to it. What did catch my eye was HTC's announcement of their new phone. After researching the specs, I figured I'd give this one a shot. The real test would be how it felt in my hand. Some carriers got this phone before T-mobile did, so I was able to test it in hand. BLOWN AWAY. It was like the phone was molded to my palm! Anyway, long story short, I knew after about 5 minutes of in hand use that this was my next phone. Speed, build quality, Sense 6.0, awesome camera (seriously, people bash the camera for being 4MP... but in the week I've owned this phone, I've been told several times that my phone takes the best pictures of anything out). And lets not forget the speakers. Unreal, you can hear the phone ringing from outside your house. HTC gets an A+ for the M8. As a loyal MyTouch user from back in the day, I know HTC makes great phones, but this is head and shoulders above anything I expected. April 15, 2014

Yes. You once your phone is paid off, it’s paid off. From that point on you will only pay be billed for the T-Mobile rate plan, and services, or features you’ve chosen.

When your new phone arrives simply follow the manufacturer’s set-up procedure and start using it. If you purchased a new T-Mobile SIM card to use in your own device, you will need to insert the new card and then you are good to go.

You can upgrade your phone at any time. If you have an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) you’ll need to pay that off first, then you’re free to select a new phone. It’s as easy as that. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

To find out if you’re eligible for a rebate or a promotion all you need to do is answer a few simple questions.

Other carriers recover the cost of the phone with higher recurring monthly rate plan charges. Their customers continue to pay higher monthly rates even after the phone is paid off. Only T-Mobile offers a plan that automatically lowers the cost of the monthly bill when the phone is paid off.

We offer free, overnight shipping on certain new phones and devices. Otherwise, we will send your purchase using standard 2-4 business days shipping. Look for special promotions where all phones and devices include free, overnight shipping.

No. When you group phones into a family plan when purchasing on T-Mobile.com, you must either pay for all of them up front, or over time.

No. If you choose to pay over time, your payments will be interest-free.

You must purchase insurance within the first 14 days of buying a new device. To learn more about Premium Handset Protection Insurance or to learn about our other bundled features simply follow the link.

If you cancel your service, you still need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Refurbished phones offered by T-Mobile have been inspected and tested to ensure they’re in good working order, and they all come with a limited 90-day warranty. They also come with the same return policy as our new devices: 20 days from the date of your order; 30 days in California.

Unlike other carriers that give you a discounted rate on the phone up front and then bury the costs in your monthly bill, we charge you the full retail price. In order to make payments more manageable, qualifying new and current customers can take advantage of our Equipment Installment Plan (EIP).

    Here's how phone payments work:

EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) pricing allows qualifying customers to get a new phone with an initial down payment and make monthly payments on the phone for 20 months with no interest charges. For example, if you purchased a new phone for $550 and put $150 down, you pay $20/month for 20 months, plus the low monthly cost of your Value Plan. Value Plan pricing is only available at T-Mobile.

The following restrictions apply to all EIPs:

    • Non-Value plans, T‐Mobile Monthly4G prepaid plans and certain business accounts are not eligible for EIPs.
    • Customers in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico are not eligible for EIPs.
    • The minimum required purchase for an EIP is $19.99.
    • Due to state regulations, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, West Virginia and Wyoming do not allow purchases on a 24‐month EIP.
    • If you leave T-Mobile you’re still obligated to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Learn more about our Equipment Installment Plan

Depending on which rate plan you choose, you may also be charged an add a line fee; see rate plan for details. Taxes and shipping will also be applied to your order total.

Whether you choose to pay for your device up front today, or pay over time, you can upgrade your device at any time. If your current device has not yet been paid off, you will need to continue to make payments on the existing balance. For the well-qualified buyer, pay over time pricing will spread interest-free payments over 24 months. If you cancel wireless service, remaining balance on phone becomes due.

You need a credit check for a couple of reasons. First, if you are applying for an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP) it’s standard practice for us to check your credit. If you want to keep your existing phone number we need to determine if it’s eligible to be transferred.

Just like all other wireless carriers, T-Mobile has to charge enough to cover the cost of the phone. The difference is that T-Mobile separates the cost of the phone from the cost of the service. That means T-Mobile customers finish paying for their phone as soon the actual cost is paid off—and their monthly bill automatically drops.
